I wouldn't use the word "cancelled." His political peak was always The Boondocks when it hit television. Sure, a few of his comic strips were too racy for some newspapers but I wouldn't say cancelled. He took an hiatus, then the rights were in limbo around the fourth season.

Aaron isn't a radical; he's well-educated about Black culture both from education and experience. I would love to see him do a take on BLM.

There were several attempts to cancel him before the term even existed. The first was over the MLK episode, which failed miserably. Then they went after him for shitting on BET, which got those episodes banned from TV. Finally, and what truly ended his stint on the original run, was when he decided to make fun of Tyler Perry, which eventually got him kicked off his own show.

And yes, McGruder is definitely a radical. Huey is a self-insert character, and clearly reflects his own personal opinions and viewpoints. Plus, he disliked Obama for not being a champion of black people's issues and for being the puppet of the neoliberal cracker elite.

Regina King is an 8/10 smoke who actually seems like a chill person, would definitely bang, even now.

I would desperately want to believe it, but if you watch him in interviews he definitely gives off more of a Huey vibe than the most based character to ever exist.

I remember a few years back he was supposed to be heading an Amazon show about what if blacks were given reparations and their own Wakanda in the South after the Civil War and I always wondered if he'd be tongue in cheek about it or just go full on propaganda. It really fell off the radar and I'm surprised it hasn't returned in the age of the eternal BLM struggle session.

For work I need to drive around an area where police rarely if ever enforce traffic laws, I have had a shit ton of close calls because people running red lights (not "It just turned red"), I have seen people speed 60+ mph in a 25mph zone where a school bus was flashing its red lights letting off children younger then 10 off the bus. These fuckers do not care about the lives of others nor their own. Traffic enforcement is necessary for the protection of life. Don't want to wear your seatbelt? Fine but For fucks sake don't go speeding down a road blowing every red light you see.

If you want to find a cop go on the freeway. If you want to find a cop doing community policing good luck.

The majority of any police force is glorified traffic wardens. Some small towns literally rely on them for ticket revenue. And most of the time they are doing the fucking speeding and using hand held devices while policing. The hypocrisy is astounding from them.

So my comment stands - they can go fuck themselves and decide what real policing is.

Some cities have so many cops that if they were stationed every 10 blocks you'd probably see crime plummet, but instead they are out on the freeways or other roads pissing away time.

They are the majority fucking goons and drop outs. Homicide and detectives are a cut above I'll give them that, but thinking all cops are smart is like comparing the Army to the crew of a submarine - chalk and fucking cheese.
