IIRC, that was just a limited alpha of D2 "Resurrected" back in April. Game's not released yet but Blizz did state 2021, so end of year perhaps? Unless they delay it, which knowing Blizzard at this point, wouldn't be surprising.

I've found more people are vocal in their support (and their shilling, considering how many people I see go into even indies' streams and gush about them/try to push a collab) of Vshojo. I really doubt they'd act on what a small part of the fanbase thinks, even if they are rabid shitters with their conduct.

My guess is that cancelling Veibae was Cover's decision due to all the backlash from that one clip where she openly shit talks Hololive (and vei doubling down didnt help her case), and Nyanners is just showing 'solidarity' by turning Kiara down.

She got called out, but instead of apologizing, she strikes all clips on Youtube and doubles down on not wanting to "kiss ass" because those statements were from before she joined VShojo. I've always wondered if that's actually the case or if it's just another instance of Reddit-tier insincere kindness. I don't really see all that much negativity directed towards vtubers outside of the chans/antis/us.
