The Liberty deserved it and nothing can convince me of the opposite. It was a spy ship and its tasks involved the credible risk of having their communications intercepted by Egypt or Russia, thus sabotaging Israel's war effort.
Israel should've fucking sunk the ship with its crew instead of letting them complain about it decades since then and after having received millions to shut the fuck up and recognize the accidental nature of the incident.
And anyone who says Israel attacked it to involve the US can jump from a window because the last thing it needed was foreign support, 1967 was a steamroll.

When Pro-pal/anti-Zis argue that Palestine is a state, how do they deal with the fact that the West Bank and Gaza have their own two governments? What country has two separate but equal governments?
That also makes me wonder, are there any pro-pals that are against considering the territories a state due to the reason that considering Hamas to be a state actor would mean holding Hamas to actual standards regarding human rights?
It goes without saying that plenty of countries get away with human rights violations despite having statehood, but I am just curious if anyone has noticed Hamas and/or Palestinian sympathizers considering this drawback to state recognition

spoiler, it's not - Hamas practically is 'the' state in Gaza along with their rivals in the West Bank and Hamas is doing this to try and score political points as the 'one true leader of the Palestinian oppressed and not those West Bank pussies who aren't based enough to throw thousands of rockets into the air'. what's that you say? you want them to abide by being responsible for said rockets as a state into civilian areas? well...they're not REALLY a state, they're the oppressed a bloo bloo bloo! too bad for them that if this bombing keeps going their command structure at the very least might just get obliterated entirely, along with a few hundred civvies sure, but no less dead.
