Others also probably expressed it. And out of all of them only Marine had that tiny animated video collaboration. Oh yeah, and MatsurixGura song.
Still, gaming collabs would be great.

Same could be applied to Mori too.

@Scuttle aye, that's the thing. I find her parroting corporate statement of Hololive being a big family and all that in the interview a bit grating. There is undoubtedly no malice in the fact that there are no collabs that most fans would like to see. Just an unfortunate state of things.

All in all, what I should have written is the fact that this interview is pretty basic.

There's unfortunately a pretty comprehensive language barrier making Amelia and Gura less desirable for cross-branch collabs with JP.

Calli and Ina have some level of control over Japanese and Kiara is fluent, so there are no issues. Ame's Collab with Mel required Ollie as translator, and her collab with Roboco, as cute as it was, was comparatively quiet.

The only two who could feasibly Collab are Haachama and Coco, and one of them is stuck in corporate jail right now.

Not to mention that Gura seems rather...detached...from the concept of collaborating with others. When was her last 1-on-1 EN Collab? I can't think of it off the top of my head, bit it feels significantly less often than the rest.

I was listening to Ollie while doing other things and understood that's she's moving to the EN server because there's little to do on the JP.

Personally I think it's a good Idea. That server is a few years old and it has pretty much everything done. Also Ollie has good chemistry with Ame and Calli (although it's awkward with Kiara)

Speaking of, during the collab, Reine was talking about how there isn't all that much to do in the JP server because pretty much everything that can be done has been done already. With Ollie constantly sneaking in to the EN server maybe we'll see more IN and Hachaama setting up shop.

Sometimes, if you want for something to happen, you have to push for it yourself. Sometimes, it is the kouhai that should try for the collabs. And yes, there are senpais were that is rather difficult, like Aqua and Pekora, but there are others were it's easier. To me, while Calliope seems busy with other projects, Gura still hasn't found the courage and/or the will to believe in herself, in order to push in that direction. Thankfully, Gura is more than capable in the solo side of this, but if she wasn't she would be in a very tough situation, although she would still have her genmates, so it could be balanced out.

The combination of Gura's seeming shyness, Japanese social conventions on what is/is not appropriate, and the situation with her sub numbers blowing everyone else out has made what I think is a nasty stalemate. Add in the language barrier, and we're just asking for trouble. One party is going to have to budge, but I have no idea who will take that leap. I know if I were in Gura and Ame's position, I would be spending every opportunity outside of streaming to drill learning the Japanese language. That'd be the biggest resource I think she could be doing for her own sake.

In other news, Aruran and Oga appear to be either supervising both Iofi and Risu or teaching or them how to play Monster hunter. They're just standing back and letting the girls kill the mobs themselves. They're speaking in moonrunes however, so I can't figure out the exact context. Hoping some good fanart comes out of this.

I think there are holomem who are comfortable doing solo stream like pekora and aqua. Plus i think gura is still cautious in collab ever since her fans flame iofi in amongus collab which she probably dont want to happen again. Her last 1on1 collab outside of EN is with Anya if im not mistaken.

I was at least right that Fubuki has been kicking ass and taking names as well, and repping my personal favorite weapon (Switch Axe).

I’m pretty sure Luna had some MH videos either on her old channel or shortly after she debuted on Holo, and I definitely remember watching those and thinking she was extremely good at it.
