Someone could react adversely to the Moderna vaccine because of Acetic Acid. Acetic Acid is in vinegar and is what makes it an antiseptic against bacteria and germs. A little too much could cause a reaction or if the person has a natural allergic reaction to acetic acid or vinegar. I don't know why they need it in the vaccine. It's suspect.
Conservants must be a little poisonous. Not enough to hurt you but enough to kill whatever could spoil the thing you're trying to conserve. But allergy warning is appreciated!
The Johnson and Johnson vaccine has ethanol. Yes. The same thing you put as a gas substitute in your car.
It's also the thing we drink in our beer, wine or whiskey 😉 And what the doctor uses to sterilize your skin before injection.
The first one from Pfizer has nothing strong and potentially toxic in it.
Signed up for this one. Some friends and family members got it already (some felt no side effects, some were very tired and had fever for a day or two), some got AstraZeneca with similar effects.

The problem with mass produced vaccines, mistakes in values can happen and a batch can go out with more parts acetic acid or ethanol than should. I know, ethanol is moonshine...corn liquor. I could get some pals at their still to rustle us up some COVID vaccine. I didn't see AstraZeneca but I bet removing toxic substances is why they were a week late and pulled the first batch.

Pam once again displaying her astounding ignorance by trying to talk about a subject she doesn't understand.

The worst problem is, I think, transporting and safekeeping the vaccines as they need low temperatures. If they're not properly stored you can get an ineffective one at best.

It's pretty much any recreational alcohol. Sure, in US moonshine is probably mostly corn-based but it can be made from pretty much anything: fruits, potatoes, grain, pretty much anything that ferments can be distilled into alcohol 😉

In EU we get what we can :) UK and Israel used AZ a lot but the concern is the protection doesn't last for long (pessimistic estimation: around three months).

Funny, I feel the same way when I hear about Katy Perry talking about motherhood.

And how did you become an expert on making US moonshine, pray tell? Well, Covid season is not like flu season, it seems to last throughout the year. Although, I think last summer, the heat would have eradicated it if no one had rioted in the cities. Just my opinion.

Tony mad. Tony not figure stuff out. Tony hate waman. Waman hurt Tony's feewings. Wanh, Tony.

By no means I am 🙂 I just know corn is much bigger part of American cuisine than it is here on the old continent... So, since people make moonshine out of whatever they have at hand I assumed corn gets processed too.

Wouldn't be so optimistic. We had a hot summer and no riots or any other social unrest and people were scared shitless so they followed the rules for most part. It slowed down but wasn't eradicated and blew up again in when it got colder.

While you're crashing at my house we'll all be at Pam's, having fun and playing board games, lol.

You should probably just meet us there.
You know how those LAN parties go - someone always spills a beer on the carpet or at least drops a crisps, nobody notices and it gets stomped into the fibers until it's almost impossible to clean it. We're gentlemen, we wouldn't do something like this to a lady.

They are planning to do something stupid. They just tried something.
