So, reading this post got me thinking. There have been quite a few high-profile troonouts among e-celebs. But what happens when these trans personalities get tired of the act? If someone goes trans to help their career and then their career starts to fade anyway, how long will they keep wearing the woman costume? Will they get tired of the constant rejection on dating apps? Do you think Jim Sterling here wants to keep putting on awful wigs and makeup for the rest of his life?

It's going to work out like the college girls who say they're "totally lesbian" and then marry a guy shortly after they graduate. Sooner or later there's going to be a rash of detransitions among people who did it to boost their careers. They'll probably try to avoid the public eye but if they have any celebrity status left people are going to take notice and ask them what's up. Oh sure.
