A lot of second+ generation Asians have drank the koolaid.
The wignats who romanticize rooftop Koreans and talk about some sort of White-Asian alliance must not have met many Asian college kids.
I don't think it's out of a genuine feeling of oppression, but rather recognizing that designated "victim classes" sit at the top of the hierarchy and that they might as well take their slice of the pie.

A lot of Asian lefties are probably also worried about Asians getting treated like honorary whites in leftist spaces (since as we all know, white or white-affiliated = undeserving of safety, security, political influence, etc) so they double down on woke ideology to avoid getting lumped in with whites. Judas goat shit.
 
If there is one thing that I have learned from all of this, it is that the non-whites are only truly united not out of genuine concern for one another or because they suffer from the same cause of oppression, but purely out of a petty, apish envy and hatred of those who have money, power and influence.

This is all completely correct. Asians know what will happen to their job prospects if they don't play ball, as most of them live in blue cities.

It's hard to say how much is deeply-felt versus performative for social status, but it's academic. If you repeat something enough, regardless for the reason, you start to believe it one way or another.

We always knew how this is going to go: the table being set up for a show trial where Chauvin is nailed to the wall and dies in prison, either through being shivved or offing himself because he's Public Enemy Number One to the black community and his location will become known to the prison population (or he's moved to general population making him a target. And does Chauvin look like the type of guy willing to get into fights?) All we're seeing is lost appeals added to the table.

One of the more hilarious things I've read is that some school, say UCLA, did a poll on what the students wanted. The whites, blacks, and Mexicans all said that the dorm rooms were too fucking small and blah blah blah. The only group that didn't give a shit about the size of the dorm rooms were the Asian kids 'cause they don't see dorm rooms as a place for socializing or hanging out or even studying, they see dorm rooms as a place for sleeping.

The US is working out pretty great for them. They'd way rather be studying biochemistry at UCLA than standing knee-deep in a rice paddy in the old country, and for every shitty thing that happened to Asians 80+ years ago in the US, there's something like the Cultural Revolution or the Cambodian Genocide which their parents have direct experience of.

Asians are only interested in race shit when they perceive themselves as under direct attack. They are absolutely not interested in being thrown together as an afterthought in some racial grievance coalition. And for all the sperging on the left about rights not being pie, when it comes to shit like places at good schools, they have no interest in sacrificing some of their places so Tykwanda with the 2.7 can warm a chair for a year and a half before washing out.

You have a point, but the thing the thread is that if there's a good thing going, how far will they go to defend it? There's no real prison yard mentality, no real desire to go Roof Korean, if anything, shit won't pop off, or if it does, will Asians even throw down? As hooked to the internet as they are, asians actually know when to turn off shit and know when arguing is pointless.

Add in the fact that they actually, for all the bugman stuff, know that whats most important in early life is getting ahead as an individual and not worrying about social problems that largely don't affect you personally, and they have a pretty good sense of how they should act in society.

If more people in Portland, which is like 90% white, stopped giving a shit about thing which have basically no affect on their own individual lives, especially the liberal type of people, maybe they would actually focus on self improvement instead of larping.

At the end of the day, the main person to blame for where you find yourself is yourself. Society does have its own impact, and sometimes it can play you really, really shitty cards- but to the degree that most people make it out to be, the biggest problem in their lives isn't society, its themselves.

Here’s the thing, the right has a thing called moral restraint keeping them from doing horrible things. That or the feeling they have something to lose if shit goes south. That or they feel they can’t handle being the villain. The left doesn’t have any of those, which will probably lead to them doing worse shit sooner rather than later.

dunno about moral restraint, but how I'd frame it is right wing people tend to actually have jobs or own houses and small businesses, so when it comes to sperging out, far fewer nigga moments for rightoids when you actually own property and know how much effort it takes to actually maintain a society.

The ones who don't have homes or decent enough jobs on the right, they sometimes sperg out in ruby ridge type things
