America is a very big place. For any powers that be or powers the wish to be will needs the infrastructure intact if they wish to maintain control.

Endless riots dont help with that end.

What will happen is the ability to maintain a centralized political structure will become impossible.

If someone is screaming that they can't breathe then obviously they can breathe. If they go quiet and limp is the time to worry.

Not that it matters, Chauvin will be found guilty and will do hard time. Anything less will mean every city with a large jogger population will burn. The "trial" is an optics spectacle. We'll hear overwhelming evidence that demands acquittal, and it won't matter. The more overwhelming the proof of innocence the better, it will show the masses that even if the case is bullshit they'll still get you. That's the point of the court case, it's got nothing to do with justice.

Saw, and good for them. Prosecution seemed to want to use the "he launched this whole broad movement" as a big pull, but really nothing outside of the actual case should be mentioned. Its why I do have some hope, because the judge actually seems to be pretty objective and doesnt seem to want this to turn into a kangaroo court, even if the prosecution has and is trying.

Eh I'm not too worried. The BLM gravy train died in 2020, even genuine protesters who did their best to stop rioters/looters from shitting up stores realized that BLM is too far gone and moved on. Its too low energy to have random spontaneous riots in various parts of the country, now this shitfest only currently happens in Portland, Seattle and Minnesota.
