There's a sort of general comment to be made here about the incoherence and ridiculousness of his views. He, of course, legitimately deserves sympathy for the things that happened to him as a child, especially the sexual abuse. However it reveals that EssenceOfThought's real name may be Peter Thurston. EoT apparently went by Atomicfurriesglobal on youtube. The only relevant youtube vid I can still dredge up is this one, which seems rather negative towards Tony FurryFox. I'm really not seeing this pile on that he's alleging, but it could have happened on some less public place.

After seeing the same name create the ED page and the wikifur page, I found this series of tweets from EoT regarding this situation which confirms the wiki user Atrumnex101 was EoT, and thus the writer of the ED page and the person who provided the images.

The sting operation in question is Peter posing as a 14 year old christian girl on youtube to try and bait Tony FurryFox to respond.

And that's all I can find so far. I think this is a weird situation, and I also think it's weird to bring it up 10 years after the fact. At least the narrative has been consistent?
