He retconned his apology regarding calling people who played State of Decay 2 early "paid shills". I'd like to remind you that early access was a pre-order incentive, so most people who got it early PAID for it, when Dave found out back in the day he apologized after getting blown the fuck up for his idiocy. It was also the thing that prompted the THAT WAS MY DEPRESSION stream iirc. Now he's retconning it and saying that he got attacked for no reason by those damn dirty ill-informed trolls!

Does this idiot realize that his State Of Decay 2 nonsense has been well documented on various Youtube channels along with various websites. It wasn't just detractors that picked this up; his bullshit got the attention of streamers big and small. Phil the blockhead got his Twitter blown the fuck up because he got salty wanting day one views, got drunk and sperged out. He got mad cuz everybody and their momma decided to backslap his dumbass. I continue to be in awe of his delusion because I actually believe he really believes what comes out his mouth.

Something worth highlighting here is his mid-rant attempt to be both a victim and a danger.
He said that he got dogpiled on Twitter and wasn't sure why because he 'is nobody', they just did it because he spoke the truth. So he is a victim of all these powerful people.
But then immediately after, says they attacked him because this 'verified' person on Twitter was going to expose them. So that would imply that he was actually powerful.
This is his absolute delusion on full display. Powerful enough to expose an industry, insignificant enough that nobody should hurt him. Meanwhile, none of this is an accurate reflection of what happened, with him going on and spewing vitriol. There are apparently no circumstances in which Phil should be questioned when he speaks.

But most importantly... Phil said that the reason he was dangerous was because he is 'verified'. So to those speculating that he likes to dunk on people because he has a blue checkmark, he just confirmed that is a motivating factor behind his Twitter rants. He actually thinks being verified somehow makes him important and gives him power.

The days of Phil failing to realize that every remotely positive aspect about his life is built on the goodwill of massive tech conglomerates who could not possibly care less about his existence certainly are coming to a middle.

Exactly, his childlike mind thinks that just because something is "home-cooked" it's healthy. Newsflash Dave, if you ate steak for every single meal every day, doesn't matter if you got some flash frozen dreck that you put in the microwave every time, or you ate it home cooked every time, or you went to a Michelin starred restaurant every time, you'd still get a heart attack before you hit 40 from your clogged arteries.
It's honestly remarkable how just like with video games, despite the fact that he loves shoving food down his fat gullet and then talking about it (for fuck's sake every single prestream for years has a dedicated FOOD TALK segment) he knows literally nothing about it.
