Biden wasn't their guy, they hate him too.
They just hate him slightly less than Trump and think he'll ultimately cave to their demands like their local democrats have, so they toned down the anti-Biden/anti-democratic spergery and feigned support during the election.
They know they couldn't take over/hold power over republicans/Trumpers.

I wonder if they'll claim that The Capital Hill Riot (which is also the name of my ska-swing band) escalated and normalised un-peaceful protesting. Continue the existing gaslighting, pretend this is all new and Trump's fault. Why not? They've parroted firey but peaceful protests so much they've unironically come to believe it. Every news source or article that calls Capitol Hill a riot almost certainly refers to the summer of love as just 'protests', you'd think 1/6 was the only political violence that happened at all in the last 12 months. They want to talk about Big Lies so much right now they can start there.
