Honestly, you should distance yourself from Ahuviya. You've mentioned that you're shy and have little to no other support network. If your only support is a partner with a history of abuse towards others (the mom-hitting incident) and yourself (threatening to reveal your phone number over a disagreement), then you need to find a better source of support. That's a recipe for finding yourself in an abusive relationship.

She's pretty much my entire support network, to be honest. I have pretty severe anxiety and don't make friends well. It's a thing I'm trying to work on.

Like I said before, I do agree that she might do well to invest in some housing. But she's hell bent on finding a roommate situation in like a trans specific communal living space.

Just want to add that it pains me to see someone identifying as queer say this. Orientation doesn't change, certainly not that drastically. In college, the label was always "bisexual" so I can totally believe an attraction to women, but... if anything, I'd bet there's still an attraction to men that is simply being repressed due to the whole "misandry" identity. Not saying Ahuviya should have to act on it against her will, but "became a lesbian" is problematic phrasing.

To be fair the courts found all claims of abuse to be unsubstantiated and implied that his mother coached his answers. His mother does hold a grudge towards her ex husband, enough so to take something to court that was eventually thrown out.
