I noticed that page has none of the trademark Shaner writing; no weird spaces, no weird capitalization. So if that isn't Shaner, and the Facebook posts with the weird writing is Shaner, then Knight would appear to be the man himself rather than one of his Facebook defenders. Does that seem accurate to you?

I think that's not Shaner's facebook, it's a fanpage for him.

Len is having a mental meltdown because he's pissed off, I'm losing it so hard right now.

I had been wondering why there seems to be such long gaps between @The_Knight_Rider 's posts, but then I realized that he's probably preoccupied with logging into every one of his sock accounts to defend himself on Facebook. & given his, ahem, technological prowess, it's probably more time consuming than it would be for the average bear.

Man, I have to go into work for a few hours tonight, & I'm gonna miss all three of Len's responses. I'm so upset.

Len Shaner waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were Kiwis in the base. He didn’t see them, but had expected them now for years. His warnings to the Railroad Commissioner were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
Len was a train foamer for fourteen years. When he was young he watched the trains and he said to dad “I want to be on the trains daddy.”
Dad said “No! You will BE KILL BY KIWIS”
There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got oldered he stopped. But now in the train station base of the Colebrookdale line he knew there were Kiwis.
“This is Diane Flopler” the radio crackered. “You must fight the Kiwis!”
So Len gotted his photography rifle and blew up the wall.
“HE GOING TO KILL US” said the Kiwis
“I will shoot at him” said the @Zim and he fired the @Pocket_Sand!. Len photographed at him and tried to blew him up. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill.
“No! I must kill the Kiwis” he shouted
The radio said “No, Len. You are the lolcow”
And then Len was a lolcow.

I just noticed why the girl is out of focus in all of Shaner's pics.

It's because he's taking a picture of the train, not the girl. The girl is just secondary. Shaner really is that obsessed with trains. On the rare occasion that he has a hot girl in front of him, he'd rather focus on the train.

The other possibility, of course, is that Shaner wasn't interested in her because, as we all know, he's a pedophile.

You're right. It does seem to be a consistent thing in his shots where the train is perfectly still and in focus and the women aren't.

I been a long time railroad fan. I have true railroad blood running through my vains. I had two Great Great Uncles who worked for the PRR on the Main Line from Philadelphia to Harrisburg in the late 1800's. on my Mother's side, and on my Late Father's side I had two Great Uncles that worked in railroading. Uncle Joe worked for the Reading Company as a Passenger Condutor and Uncle Clayton worked as a shop formen for Baldwin Locomotive Works when they were still in downtown Philly.

Someone was asking why Shaner became a railfan. Looks like it's a family tradition that he was too idiotic to follow in, so he had to settle for being a fanboy. Now the fanboy thing isn't working out and he's losing not just his personal dream but he's letting down his family. From what I understand his mother is still alive, God knows what kind of relationship they may have. She could be enabling him in a variety of ways, although it's too early to judge that and ofc our focus isn't on his mom. Still, her influence on him may be having an effect similar to Barb and Chris Chans, so it's worth mentioning.

I think that suggests she is encouraging his shitty behavior. Maybe she doesn't even mean to, maybe she can't even see the reality because of her age. The again maybe she wasn't such a nice lady herself when Len was growing up and Len didn't fall far from the nest, or whatever. I'd rather assume the former were true than the latter until there's evidence otherwise, ofc.
