I burned my first Ian Banks "the culture" books today along with many copies of Philip Reeves mortal engines on a giant bonfire in Louisville today.
The cheering from the crowd of red-brown alliance and Antifa was so loud I couldn't hear the diversity speaker anymore.

People were excited and tossing books into the flames while the 2018 Mortal Engines movie played on a giant screen in the background.

Portraits of Trump and Putin were raised high above the crowd. Louisville is truly free.

He used to frequently post about space race type stuff on the Freespace modding forum. Space stuff and scifi is what he hyper-focuses on. When the Fobos-Grunt launch failed he seemed to suddenly take it personally, and that's when things got much crazier. I'm not entirely sure what the catalyst for it was, but either it has to do with age-onset mental illness symptoms or something in his personal life, because as far as I'm aware he was a fairly well-known and otherwise harmless modding sped on a forum for modding speds at that time.
