For sure, it’s about 130 pages. I remember liking it a lot as a teenager but as an adult it really lacks the punch that I thought it had in the past. It’s all very sensationalized and i can’t tell whether it’s the illustrations or the script, but it really seems like an outsider looking in to a lifestyle that they are not privy to. Kind of a JT leroy situation, i guess. Not going to upload individual pictures pages just because it’s too long for that, but this link is stable. Just finished reading it and I can definitely see the inspiration. Compare the art pieces at the back of the book to Aggy's work and the resemblance is clear. I remember him being inspired by Shmorky too in a post in the Bad Webcomics thread when we first uncovered Aggy.

Yeah I hadn’t thought about Remy Boydell in years, not since I was like a sophomore in high school but the parallels are insane. For all the people claiming that despite her cowish traits, aggy is a good artist, I think the amount she rips off from other creators says otherwise. That isn’t to say that the indie comics scene itself isn’t one massive circle jerk, but aggy’s lack of originality becomes so much more obvious the further you look.

I feel like this book had potential but it didn't have any plot. Stuff just happened. I liked the art, but I think the author is a furry because she illustrated a lot of dog/human sex.

Just doing a 5 minute Google search, one of the first things to pop up is a multi-part clip compilation called Questionable Strawberry Marshmallow Moments where the first clip has a college age character hitting on an 11 year old. Looks right up Aggy's alley.

When I was in high school, I was reading 'Omaha the Cat-Dancer'. It's this comic except as standard hetero-fantasy porn (the only gay sex is lesbian and includes the guy of course. this WAS the late 80's) Oh, and it had an actual murder-mystery plot going on besides just tranny rent-boy angst.

Speaking of tranny angst, the kicking the fuck out of the auto mechanic who called the main character an 'ugly tranny' was some pretty blatant wish-fulfilment, you gotta admit.
