I kind of like Greg's self made drama, but his orbiters and girlfriends are almost more interesting, at this point. He's a narc, plain and simple, and everything to be known about him is already known. The people attracted to him physically, emotionally, or spiritually, are another thing themselves. Great character studies.

There's literally no way that Shane Dawson could ever look worse than Onision.
  • Shane's channels were always significantly more successful than Grimes's, even when they first started out in 2009. Shane had a variety of content from skit comedy and music videos before moving onto personal vlogs and documentary-style stuff. Grimes just flip-flops between countless "genres" in a single video and yet expects people to take him seriously.

  • Shane's "documentaries" and other such forms of "serious" content were always significantly better produced than anything Grug had to offer. Shane's opinions and slants on people like Logan Paul were always terrible, but at least I could sit down and watch the damn things. Grug will literally make the most smooth-brained arguments on his commentary channels and make the assertion that you're a subhuman if you don't agree with him.

  • Shane conducts himself far more maturely than Griggs of Vinheim ever could. He makes absolutely no bones about his own flaws, dysfunctions, or what have you. No better is this demonstrated than when he finally came to terms with his own sexuality and made peace with his father. Griggs, on the other hand, will maintain grudges for a lifetime and will only admit to flaws in the context of making himself look better than he actually is.

  • Finally, while Shane has made paedophilic jokes and also admitted to some really weird sexual stuff, he hasn't actually done anything that's legitimately worth getting worked up over (to my knowledge, at least). In the context of his larger body of work, his edgy style of humour slowly dissipated over the years until he tried to make the shift into more serious forms of content. Shane was in his 20s when he first joined YouTube and hasn't been shown lusting after minors despite having hordes of underage fangirls at the time. Greg on the other hand? The anti-O community and this entire thread wouldn't exist were it not for Greg's extensively documented shenanigans.
I don't like Shane Dawson, but if I had to be 100% objective here and compare him to Greg, the latter would always be worse no matter which way you slice it. It's fucking baffling to me how Greg legitimately believes that he's superior to Shane despite being the one who's actually under investigation by the FBI.

I'm actually surprised to hear Greg that picking a fight with the Farms is a bad idea. It's one of the few instances of self-awareness he ever exhibits. Looks like he knows he'll get buried alive if he tries to defend himself here than on YouTube.
