The fact that getting a garden plot and going out to forage are her biggest accomplishments is really sad. She's that much of a shut-in that it's a huge deal that she takes her elderly grandparents out on rare occasions and makes them do all the muscle work as she mucks around.
It's things like these that explain why she thinks being told a mean dad-joke, or having her parents bicker about whether to go to Subway or not, is like so totally abusive. She hasn't done anything but sit on the internet, so she doesn't know what the real world is like.
And, honestly, if she really cared about Josie, and if she's really in such a bad place, and starving out due to lack of funds, why would you not send her some cheap non perishables, or the money for them? You can figure out how to work PayPal. It's still incredibly weird that she thinks it's normal to publicize people's personal struggles, especially if you know you have a bunch of people monitoring you. But, when you're on Tumblr too long, you begin to think that oversharing is the norm, and forget that sharing the fact that you're dirt poor is usually something intimate and private.
At least we know the milk won't dry anytime soon with this one.
