I'm a pretty big fan of experimental music if I do say so myself. There's very little I won't listen to, and I relish in noise and cacophony when it's done properly. That being said, Rani's music is garbage. I get what she's doing; it's just that what she's doing isn't good. Not everyone who can make ears screech is exactly the next John Zorn or Merzbow, sorry.

I'd rather listen to Yoko Ono sing all my favorite songs than listen to Rani belching out those pretentious lyrics in his gutteral, masculine voice over Atari 2600 sounds.

I think they do this instead of actually joining the Farms because it provides a "buffer" of sorts; they can feel superior about not succumbing to the "pressure" of it all and they still get to get back at all us meanies.

I don't think the thread should be split in to two threads for both Chloe and Rani, because the two are so closely related that we'd end up posting a lot of stuff twice. Instead I propose the thread be renamed to reflect that it covers both these lolcows.

I haven't read to the (new) end of the thread, with all it's new growth today, so I don't know if this has been suggested yet.
