Can we talk about how this game ripped off War for the Planet of the Apes right down to the revenge story in apocalyptic setting?

For context, this movie came out three years ago, featured a PURE VILLAIN killing Caesar's family, and Caesar ultimately showing mercy after spending the whole movie hunting him down for revenge. All mo-capped, might I add. And way more emotionally superior than this dogshit.
