And again, I am weirdly shocked and encouraged at how many people in responses to the tweet this video was a part of are straight-up saying "This is bullshit, I've lost sympathy for the protestors, I hope the cops and horses are okay." I mean, there's the odd ACAB remark or "fuck the police" comment in there, but for the most part the comments are reasonably based.

I disagree. I have dealt with old guys like that. They go out of their way to start shit, and as soon as anyone exerts any force, they get all dramatic and end up getting themselves hurt. They do it on purpose because they know bleeding hearts will sympathize with them because they're old.
