So does the US. I really wish people bothered to educate themselves on the relevant facts. Police arrest an estimated 10 million people per year. Of those, approximately 1,000 end up with the person dying. That's 0.01%. There are 330,000,000 people in this country, and nearly 1 in 5 interact with cops in a given year (that's 66,000,000 interactions.)

And of those 1000 most are while performing a felony arrest, felony stop, and serving a felony warrant. We got a shitload of violent people out on the street and the cops take zero fucking chances when dealing with them. Cops have two modes. One where they are just dealing with people writing speeding tickets and whatever. Normal boring shit. And FELONY MODE. That's when the "GET YOUR FUCKING HANDS WHERE I CAN SEE THEM" screamy shit with guns drawn happens. It's super fucking dangerous for everyone involved.

Fun fact: Philando Castile was shot during a felony stop. He matched the description of a guy who had just pulled an armed robbery.

Really? Then scale the number of deaths by the size of the country. If the country of your choice has a tenth of the population, there should be a tenth of the number of deaths during arrest. I don't know if the US is still overrepresented after that correction.

It's no big secret that the US has a large Gang/Cartel problem. You don't conduct a felony arrest on an MS-13 member with kisses and warm hugs. Shit gets violent frequently. See above.

That's what's fueling things this riot. First there was the bodycam footage that was condemned near universally, followed by photos of destruction that made the Obama era riots look like a joke. There's even conspiracytards out in full force on the left trying to say that it was an undercover cop/glowie responsible for looting stores because many of them know it makes their side look bad. Nevermind the fact that the Unicorn Riot stream that was supposed to ass pat them had the looters bragging about stealing.
