From what I've been able to triangulate off of the information in this thread is that PPP's former church was a typical "Evangelical" church common in North America. The name of the congregation "Church of Christ" is fairly common across Protestant denominations, but there are denominations with that name that hold certain beliefs that would be seen as heterodox. I've been spending some time listening to PPP's videos where he conducts bible studies (I lack a better term for it) and the ideas he expresses are nothing really more than mainstream evangelical theology. He'll even take opportunities to rebuke antisemitism and white nationalism when he is reading from Paul's epistles.

I'm of the opinion that the goatse incident was not the sole reason he left that congregation either. That certainly would have gotten him in trouble and if he had any sort of role of responsibility (i.e. Deacon) or public ministry (i.e. street evangelization) he'd have lost it, but the older men of that church would have had a strong desire to help him not only repent, but also find a way to grow and mature from this incident into a stronger Christian. This was either the the ass-reveal that broke the camel's back or was the catalyst for a much bigger confrontation.

My guess is that PPP has an underlying mental health disorder and I'd lay odds it is bi-polar. I think PPP self-medicates but it amounts to nothing more than substance abuse. I imagine the leadership of his church confronted him on this and gave him an ultimatum that if he didn't pursue sobriety, get long term counseling, and consistently take medications, he would not longer be welcomed. Obviously PPP hit the bricks. Pharmaceutical remedies probably hamper his creativity and his spiritual compass,not to mention they become dangerous if taken with alcohol. Because he is a functional and self sustaining adult, PPP probably doesn't feel like he has a problem or if he does, he has got a handle on it.

I think this is why PPP's visibility ebbs and flows; when he is manic he instigating and creating. When he goes into a depression, he'll fade from view and probably begins to isolate himself. Thinking back to that video where PPP talks about how Null "doxxed him and his family" what sticks out in my mind is his mention that his brother was texting him saying how much he loved PPP; I took this as evidence that his brother was trying to prevent a spiral. We know PPP has had trips to the psychiatric ward and I can only guess it was related to suicidal thoughts or self harm and not some floridly psychotic episode.

You might be on to something there, but that alleged text message could easily just be ppp being sarcastic about how the doxx is going to ruin his life and that it's over for him. Also do you have any info on the psyche ward thing? My timeline is this: around March of last year, 3 months after the starfish episode, he stopped making videos abruptly. Right before he stopped he was smoking a lot of weed and even had a video where him and his brother were reviewing a strain. I remember him drinking a lot and him doing a house tour where it showed that him and his brother lived in a pigsty and weren't "cleaning it up". There were no videos from March 2019 until about September/November 2019. Oddly enough Godwinson had also stopped making videos around the same time ppp did. PPP casually returned around November while Godwinson was still AWOL. When he returned he was no longer living with his brother but instead was living with some drunken surfer. Someone asked him why he was gone and he didn't give a direct answer but seemed to imply that he was smoking too much weed and uploading too many videos and wasn't too happy about it. He claimed he was sober which was probably true until around December/January when he admitted to smoking weed again and was questioning outloud to the chat if one can have a healthy relationship with weed. He also claimed he was trying to contact Godwinson via email but wasn't getting a reply. Between his return in September/November 2019 up until at least February 2020 he was uploading pretty consistently. Some streams were low energy and some were hellfire preacher levels but honestly it was nothing that made me think the man was bipolar, just autistic. Around January Godwinson returned and started uploading videos on PPP's channel and by Febuary he had his own channel again.
