Am in the only one not rooting for Chapter 13 here?

I'm firmly rooting for Phil's case to be dismissed completely plus perjury charge for lying under oath

Karma is a bitch, but please let that happen to the pig Karma God!

(Prayer hand)
*Snorrrrrrt*
It's not that we don't WANT it to happen. I'd love if he lost it all but we also have to be realistic.

This. I don't want to get my hopes up for the best possible outcome, especially since of the others are good for Phil anyway. No matter what, he loses, because contrary to his catchphrase, he actually does everything wrong.

I know this may not be a popular opinion. But I know that the course of the pigroach will strike again and Phil will get his chapter 7 with minimal losses.
I've seen several Phil sagas over the years and they always end with Phil pulling through and the detractors getting blueballed time and time again.

Personally I'm hoping for a Chapter 13 followed by a temp ban from Twitch for doing something stupid.

If Phil weren't terrified of people he could've branched out of playing vidya and into IRL streaming where he could've had actually write offs. 6 months before he filed he could've started reviewing movies, restaurants, etc. Then argue that they're legit business expenses.

The court system doesn't have anywhere near enough resources to prosecute everyone who blatantly lies under oath, even when everyone can tell it's an an obvious lie, so by and large prosecutors don't bother bringing perjury or similar charges unless it's something high-profile (like Jussie Smollett) or there's political motivations for the prosecution (like Mike Flynn).

twitch wont ban him, he regularly abuses his viewers begs more than anyone else and is generally toxic af. if twitch only gave amaranth a temp (24 hr ban for flashing her tits) then phil is pretty much untouchable, barring a major policy/enforcement shake up at twitch nothing will happen to phil.

In bankruptcy, perjury is usually best punished by giving the least favourable outcome to the applicant.

Announcement? You mean like "Surprise! I'm a dad!" type of shit? I hope not, because that sounds more horrifying than seeing Phil shower or play with himself.
Nah, I thought something was going to happen today.

Complaint deadline 5/4/20 which was yesterday. Though if nothing has hit the docket then perhaps I was wrong.

What does "complaint" mean in this context?

"(a) Time for Objecting to Discharge; Notice of Time Fixed. In a chapter 7 case, a complaint, or a motion under §727(a)(8) or (a)(9) of the Code, objecting to the debtor's discharge shall be filed no later than 60 days after the first date set for the meeting of creditors under §341(a)." FRBP 4004(a).

It's a hope, not a prediction.

Phil did eat a ban for threatening a child though so there's precedent.

So something a creditor would've filed, it sounds like. Thanks.

Wonder how often that happens...

With so many creditors, and Phil looking so suspicious? Either they know something we don't about the disposition of the case, or they're overwhelmed dealing with other peoples' Corona-related bankruptcies.

I'm guessing it's the latter. Phil doesn't owe a truly outlandish amount to any one of them except whoever holds the mortgage for the Wakhando, which he has been keeping up with on payments to the best of my knowledge.

He owes ~$30,000 total to Citibank under 3 separate lines of credit. He also currently owes ~$110,000 to MidFirst Bank on his CT condo mortgage and ~$50,000 if they get the estimated market price for it in a sale.

Apologies if it's a dumb question, but is that 60 day period set in stone, even if something like the 341 meeting being pushed back happens?
