He needs to use his emergency powers aggressively and totally, or we'll just get walked over. Take a page from Ralph Northam's book: he used emergency powers to effectively ban gun sales. Nobody revolted. Trump can easily use his leverage under existing laws to reshape the country's political, economic, and social fabric to prepare us for the future. A serious and concerted effort would boost the right wing for years to come with this crisis while also saving American lives.

So, I've been bored during the lockdown and have been trying to find a piece of TDS from just before the 2016 election, but I've not had any luck so far. I figured I might as well see if anyone else knows what I'm talking about or how to find it.
It was some sort of comedy special presented by Fathom Events or some other company that shows live events at movie theaters that was supposed to play on election night. One of the comedians described it as "like the Blue Collar Comedy tour, but for smart, moral people." I've checked a listing of Fathom Events from that time but haven't had any luck. People I know also remember the ad because of how condescending it was. I'm sure it's an untapped gold mine for TDS.

From what I've read from that and this, Pence has signed a bill that allowed businesses to use relgion as an excuse to not serve gays and trannies (ie Christian refusing to bake a pro gay cake), being against gay marriage, and being for "don't show, don't tell" laws, and apparently federal funding for conversion therapy and only renewing HIV treatment funding if the money did not go to "“organizations that celebrate and encourage the types of behaviors that facilitate the spreading of the H.I.V. virus". So basically for funding conversion therapy, rather than directly advocating for it.
We all know that public schools are Republican brainwashing centers, my teacher who constantly wishes that Trump dies from Chinkflu told me so because she's not making $40+ an hour.

I took a look at the comments for that tweet and some of those comments from "progressives" are terribly sexist towards her, calling her a whore or comparing her to a blowup doll. But it's okay when they act like that because anyone that isn't on their side "deserves" it right?
