So yeah, not been in the thread because last week, two friends of mine left the planet: the guy who was in hospice, but also a woman closer to my own age who had been my friend for, I want to say, 15 years or so, whose death was sudden and not even expected. As her husband said, this wasn't supposed to happen. Not even sorry for my prolonged absence. Not sorry that I am not sorry. Right now I could not possibly give one quarter of one fuck (a q-fuck?) about the goddamn lolcow wiki.
I just had to point out a severe logical problem with this whole break-the-spine, amputate-the-hands bullshit. These are women that apparently Mr. Whatever He Claims His Real Name Is wants to impregnate and dump, so that his spawn will be running all over the earth long after he has methed his last meth.
Now, there are parents who do their job while living with fairly serious physical disabilities. I'm pretty sure there's a blog called "Wheelchair Mom" or something like that. But knowing parents, I feel fairly certain that if she had a choice in the matter, she would love to be able to intervene in emergencies, because kids are stupid early on and do things like fall into swimming pools, run out into traffic, put on a cape and pretend to fly like Superman, you name it. And I'm even willing to bet there's a double-amputee parent out there. I would also venture to guess, however, that many parents with physical disabilities have the support of the other parent. If the now-single mother of Rapey McRaperson's child is getting no support from him because what are principles, she'll have to work some kind of job. Again, you can do this with fairly severe physical challenges to overcome. It's just a hell of a lot harder. I am having trouble, for example, visualizing a woman with no hands coping with those stupid little self-adhesive tapes on a diaper. Although he objected, to the point of cruelty, to even dating a woman who had a child by another man, apparently some small army of incel providers is supposed to come out of the woodwork and raise Marijan's children, while cheerfully supporting all of the now-disabled women he has fucked and dumped. This is a parasitic strategy that reminds me of the birds that find existing nests, kick out the eggs already there, and lay their own.
TL;DR That strategy is cuckoo.
