I wanted refreshing on the case and looked up some articles. The girlfriend went to the South Yorkshire police and was ignored for years, assigned a cop not experienced in child abuse, etc. They seem to have a bit of a reputation in ignoring sex crimes like Rotherham.

Hopefully Gig Harbor police will do better with the evidence that is coming out about Gurg.

I mean, I already know exactly how he'd respond to all of the criticisms ("you just don't GET my ART") but I hadn't actually heard if he had or not.
