Not to worry there will be lots of competition for him at the masters world championship satisfying his "human rights". There are 96,496 males and 15,754 females who have competed. And some of the latter group will be men and/or trannies, since it's much easier to get a 'Queen of the Mountain' than a King.
So the men outnumber the women 6 to 1. And then you are filtering by some stupid age category. Even though Rhys is, like, 37. Which isn't that old even if he was competing as a man. Michael Albasini was one of the few riders to finish at yesterday's actual men actual world cycling championships and he's 38. And he's already raced almost 10,000km this year.
And on pro women's team Biehler, the star rider is 45 year old tranny Nathalie Van Gogh.

So being a tranny in the women's races and then competing as a veteran, even though you're under 40, is the tranny sports equivalent of getting a head start in a running race against a man with no legs.
I'm sure there are sports where there is equivalent depth in men and women, but cycling ain't one of them.
