Even that won't happen..... there is no legal route for succession from the US by state, county, city or any other legally-recognized incorporated territory chunk, the only way it can happen is through successful force-of-arms, which nobody at current has the means to do, on either side of the debate.
Everyone fretting about a Civil War, or wanting one, utterly fails to reasonably present a scenario where it happens and is successful (i.e.- no Federal force is used, or is used unsuccesfully, to quell it)
Nobody can even demonstrate what groups of people (Specifically, I want an actual named group, not just "Revolutionaries" ) would take up arms and what specific objectives they'd try to seize.
Until you can cite both of those for me, there's no point at even carrying the "Civil War" discussion anywhere.

I'm not a fan of photo ops with babies/small kids in general (the baby in that pic is clearly uncomfortable) but it's not like Trump invented that shit.
For me him refusing to do it would be a mark in his favor, but him doing the bullshit that every other politician does doesn't piss me off in this particular case.

Another part of the reason that’s failed is because of the military. If you can’t get the military as a whole to help unseat someone, it won’t work. In other words, for a successful coup to happen, it has to get really bloody. The DNC would have to make themselves as powerful and ruthless as the Bolsheviks were during the Russian Revolution. Luckily, the DNC has neither the organization or support to make this happen ( as we know so far).

I was replying to what someone else said. The person who put up mcafee video. I am talking about de facto balkinzation and as a result of decay. Not armed struggle. Not as result of a group pushing for it.
If trump wins and say democrats do go al la brownshirts, and various government factions (which are rumored to support the left) go tet offensive, then the various mechanisms keeping society as a whole will fall apart. America would decentralize into sovereign regions. It won't be a unified continental effort. Think Somalia or Mexico with technically a central government but not very capable of much.
However antifa the best they got and it's not very effective.
