I can’t tell what’s better abot this between Miriam’s broke-ass English and the camera panning to Jonathan standing in front of the car looking like he’s phoning some poor clerk’s manager (and the “He’s trying to run me over!” afterwards).
It sounds like of like an Israeli accident where some of the elongated vowel sounds have been deliberately shortened but I'm no linguist.

It’s illegal. Jaywalking is also illegal, even though you don’t see a lot of prosecutions for it.
It’s basically one of those charges that you usually only get, if a cop or prosecutor really wants to fuck with you.
The local police seem to want to keep as big a distance as possible between themselves and Yaniv though, so press X for doubt on charges.
It will have consequences though. Cops watch The Rebel too. They’ll see this clip and tell others about it or link them.
I’d be very surprised if the local PD didn’t already know that Yaniv is usually full of crap, especially given the frequency of his calls.
