Not sure about the homeland but pretty certain that they may also say no. I'm also certain that any EU country that he'd have to transit through would also have a problem. Then there's the limited job options. Can't be bonded. Can't ever work for the gov't or on a gov't contract. Can't work in any banking or finance industry jobs. Insurance is out. It's not illegal to refuse to hire someone with a criminal conviction anywhere in Canada (unless they've been pardoned) - so anyone that would normally be afraid of the "transphobe" banhammer will soon have a legit excuse to just say no.
