"Intersectional Feminism" was an stupid concept since the beginning anyway. It means that not all women are the same and different groups have different needs. Any normal rational person can tell you that without having some ideology explaining it to you. It's the same as the people who believe that saying "racism is wrong!" is groundbreaking.

Common people, or normies if you like, are more aware of these issues than they're given credit for. You don't need to educate them on racism or sexism or anything just because they don't use the fancy words you learned in your expensive university.

I think a big part of the problem is that nowadays we are all so individualized that people think their internal sense of self takes precedence over what the rest of society perceives, and if people trust their eyes and ears in judging somebody's sex, that's actually bigotry and your senses are lying to you.

I've remained in contact with a few and they're just living their life. It's often the ones who look like smeagol in drag that are the loudest and most psychotic.

I've remained in contact with a few and they're just living their life. It's often the ones who look like smeagol in drag that are the loudest and most psychotic.

They tend to act normal because, if they pass, they're actually living in the opposite sex's shoes so to speak. So they can get a sense of what it's like to actually be a woman or a man. If they pass they are likely to have transitioned early too which makes it more likely they have actual gender dysphoria© instead of a paraphilia.
It's sort of like men not understanding why women don't like getting catcalled. Many of these troons hate women so much that they become the woman and believe they can get away with anything because they wear a wig and panties.

I'm not sure how well this was covered in the previous few pages; I didn't want to wade through too much poo to see if it was, but the original prompt of discussing transwomen and pedophilia made me want to bring up a potential talking point that could help contextualize the argument and why there seems to be an association between the two. Without revealing personal information, I have an advanced degree in a related topic (not a clinician, just to ethically provide a caveat).

A sizeable portion of sex researchers have been attempting to classify members of the trans community based on the etiology of their identity and some underlying neural correlates (I would recommend the work of psychologist, Michael Bailey to learn more about the controversy; e.g., Hsu, Rosenthal, Miller, & Bailey, 2017). One classification of transgender individual is that of natal males who feel female at birth (think Jazz from that TLC trainwreck) who are primarily gay men with small tweaks in their neural chemistry that lead to idiosyncratic expressions of femininity (perhaps Tru-Scum is a nice allegory?); much of the controversy around the trans community seems not to consider these individuals because of their, again, gay male brains that typically preclude the controversial behavior we see. Then we have the autogynephilic transwomen, who are those whose gender identity was crosswired with their sexual preferences, mainly somewhere around puberty or later who find turning into a woman arousing with reassignment as part of their sexuality (for a primer, see Lawrence & Bailey, 2009). Without derogating sexual interests, their expression of being trans is largely based in something kinky, which is something that seems to pop up time after time in samples of transwomen who are different from the former class I described. In fact, these are women with the brains of straight men essentially (i.e., no tweaks), which itself calls into question the veracity of their identity issues; it's systematic but probably completely incorrectly classified. Nonetheless, it appears that much of the controversy surrounding troons and sexual deviancy stems from autogynephilic individuals because they still have the brains of straight men who are also into sexually deviant behavior and an inability to prevent these shit shows from happening because of how politicized classifying the trans community is.

A big swath of the community lobbies to prevent these classifications from happening, largely based on concerns of discrimination and that leads to many professionals from addressing autogynephiles and feeding into their issues with thinking that could arguably be inappropriate in helping them. It seems like Yaniv is one of these people and has found a loophole for his shitty behavior and only highlights/bolsters the image of these people being predators. This is not saying the entire trans community is predatory (far from it), but it does explain why there are so many controversies (e.g., drag queen story hour hiring predators), which are predicated upon the facts not caring about their feelings and activists leading to failures of protecting victims, hindering science, and potentially contributing to the high suicide rate in the community (see Translifeline).

I often wonder about that with crime statistics in general tbh. You see the same lower IQ results for regular felons as well, but you have to figure that the sample sizes may be self selecting. Gotta assume the smart or even average criminals don't get arrested as often.

Aside: "children's rights" aka "children's autonomy" is a massive pedo red flag. It's been part of their playbook since they wrote the playbook.
