Don't know if it counts as being worthy of coverage as it seems to be a small, in-developing drama, but the Part Time Dragons (
https://twitter.com/PartTimeDragons ) twitter has been getting some rumbling accusations of "toxic positivity" lately, in regards to some of their earlier comic strips and this recent one.
For anybody not familiar with it, it's a little four panel strip reflecting the writer's beliefs about things like work ethic, pushing to achieve, and so forth. By itself not offensive, if you can get past it being rather juvenile or rosy about how the world really works.
People seem to be taking the context of "surround yourself with people who will push you to be your best self" to mean "Don't be friends with losers" and are getting assmad presumed self righteousness or preachiness. Whatever your general opinion on the message, I find the idea of its decriers projecting to be funnier.
