Seems pretty cute to me. Though it does indicate that these characters (or their families) have a LOT of money to blow on frivolities. Even upper-middle class families can struggle financially with a disabled child, so unless they're insanely rich (the classism!) or terminally ill I don't see it happening.

I'm surprised that people that would want to diversify Yandere Simulator would even be in support of it, isn't the dev a creepazoid and the game is basically "cultural appropriation/fetishization" of Japan (based off of how I've seen them react to similar concepts).

It also doesn't even make sense since the stupid "Bury Your Gays" trope SJWs rag on about so much has been so bastardized that it's not even funny. While you can still find it to be a dumb criticism (I certainly do) the original issue that BYG was about was the phenomenons where the gay couple in a series would turn out to be a star-crossed romance doomed to end in tragedy or when the one gay character dies of AIDS right the fuck out of nowhere.
