I really wish people would stop using “survivors” for things that don’t involve surviving in any way. It’s fucking belittling to ACTUAL survivors.
“What kind of message would it send?” I dunno, how about “stand up to your (alleged) harassers and show they don’t control your life”? Not that I’m saying they were harassed, just that you could easily spin it in your favor.

Not going to advise soy boy to dismiss every rando who dunks on him as harmless, although I think the amount of "threats" he receives is grossly exaggerated. But normal people who are legit threatened online don't "Woe is me..." about it, they contact the police. And if you don't, then don't expect the popcorn gallery to take you seriously.

guys. think about this. even if kamehacon doesn't sue monica for damages (they absolutely should) this is still the dumbest fucking move kickvic could've done.
she's proven everything right that istandwithvic claimed. everything.
does she really think they can bully kamehacon to keep dms private from a goddamn lawyer with subpeona power? does she really expect for vic to stop now? by backing out she proved the conspiracy real and proved malice, which usually fucks defamation cases.
she literally handed vic his entire case against everyone involved.
their only hope now is to settle. they're fucked otherwise.

I feel like even if Monica got out of appearing at Kamehacon scot free (she can't), there has to be some kind of non-complete cause where you can't be thinking of getting autograph space in the same area.
I feel like that's the smart thing to put in a contract. But then again this is the same convention that let Schemmel to push his weight around to kick Kelamis out last year and to be bullied by Sabat and Rial.

As expected Contract Breach. Contract Breach as part of her TI. She's screwed.
No, she just followed through on her TI of Vic. Which makes her completely screwed.
Oh even better. She TI'd Vic, followed through on that by following through on her extortion and breaching hers. And then she is seeking to setup a competing venue. Kamehacon might be understanding if she decides to stay home out of stress. They don't seem like complete bastards, even after everything this bitch has put them through. But wanting to make outside arrangements for her fan signing? Yeah that they might pitch a bitch about. I'm sure that the Contract she is already breaching has some form of a non directly compete clause.

Nope! All it is is further evidence of her TI against Vic. Also further evidence that unlike her fiance, she would seem not to have spoken to a lawyer. Would a "reasonable observer" based on everything we have seen believe Vic is going to run up to her and molest her on the convention floor? Are her fears Reasonable and Rational? It seems more like Vic has reasonable and rational concerns regarding Monica, and certainly Marchi? He clearly has grounds for some form of injunction of TRO to stop the nonstop TI and defamation.

It depends on the genre.
It's easier to jump from one kind of soap opera to another if they're the same rough genre.
PR as a soap opera is going to weighted differently if you then go to a dirty soap melodrama than, say, a headlining performance in showtunes Off-Broadway; that's all I'm trying to express.
Outside of that, we're basically in agreement.

Protip for these two clowns - despite what your echo chamber may have told you, a bunch of randos telling you to go neck yourself isn't considered a legitimate threat on your life.
Without seeing one of these convention appearance contracts, it's tough to say. Ty and others have indicated that this is a community very unfamiliar with the law so I wouldn't be surprised if they had holes in them like the absence of a no-compete.
