I demand more niche ratings for members please. Maybe let us nice meme everywhere?
New animations on things like editing kick ass though. The edit post interface is much improved.
I think that we need to work on how ratings work though. I'd recommend just removing the ability to click on like to give a like rating. Change the like button to say rate. If you hover over it, you get the current behavior, and if you click on it, then it stays open even if you move your mouse away, which will help users reach some of the ratings further away from the button, since they currently have a very narrow path to follow to keep the box from disappearing (you should increase the area that your cursor has to stay inside of to keep the box from fading out.)
The ratings also really don't look super nice on our futuristic new website. But then again, I don't think they ever did, I just sort of got used to them I guess. Not sure if we should fix that since some of them would get hard to decipher without color, and you can't exactly mix and match.
I would like it if you could bring back that little counter that tells you how many posts were unread when there's multiple pages. It's a great way of knowing how much you have to read through before you're caught up with any particular thread.
They'll make QR codes harder to scan, that's all I care about. So far I've snuck a link to hardcore hentai into someone's bizarre rant against the KF community in comic form and a Fredrick Knuttsen Down the Rabbit Hole video and I don't want to stop.
Oof, that's not super great UI for mobile, but neither was our old solution. It would be great if we could somehow get something to call this out to new users. Maybe a tutorial on a user's first login? I understand that this is a bit more complex and will take some time to get working though.
Also, congratulations @Null, you've existed under internet juche and are a one man developer/administrator, but you've still done in 2 years what Lowtax couldn't do in like 10!
