What does Phil care what happens on 8 July? It's not like he's going to do anything about whatever might happen. He will lock himself away inside his Ain't-ifa Barracks where the only bottles thrown at him will be empty plastic Vodka bottles.
Of course, Phil doesn't really care what happens. He's just happy someone gave him a reason to play Keyboard Kommando and pretend to be a badass. It's all about posturing and maintaining the illusion of strength with Phil. The reason he hates us so much is because we constantly break that illusion by reminding him of reality. If it weren't for places like Kiwi Farms, /cow/, ED, etc. then Phil would have longer periods of time bouncing and squeaking in delight in his apartment as he plays Isabel: Keyboard Warrior of Power.

Friendly reminder that Phil was showing off a cupboard filled almost full with packs of rice a few months ago, claiming to stockpile for the coming civil war (or something). There are food banks easily accessible nearby, and the rice packs are the result of Phil eating all the good stuff from a food bank pack and chucking what he finds boring in the back of a cupboard.
