She is literally bullshitting all of the prices.

Animal bloodwork is stupidly cheap...think 50-100 dollars... its actually kinda fucked up that animals have such cheap healthcare.

Anti-biotics is also stupidly cheap... think 20 bucks. Keep in mind, this is not a subsidized industry. The stuff is just cheap.
 
$1,500 will get you a day of boarding, minor-moderate surgery, the night of boarding after the surgery, and all the meds and trimmings to go home. There's no way in hell just a visit with bloodwork and meds costs $1,500. If I had to put a price tag on just what she said in the GFM, $500, $800 at an emergency clinic.

I'd say that's a double-standard, alright. Not going to lie, Chris just has that "look" where you're unsure if you should even be alone in the same room as him. Just about every voice actor has that "look" to them, but I dunno, never been a fan of how Chris "looks".

Also why the fuck would you name your daughter "Hero"? Apparently it's a name people are naming their babies of either sex, but why? Even "Nova" is pretty stupid, but I can at least see that not getting mocked/shit on as often as "Hero".

At this point it feels like everything is becoming a lolcow convergence event because like 80% of lolcows are neck-deep in the prolonged SJW/anti-SJW slapfight (total coincidence I'm sure) and every controversy that goes on long enough inevitably becomes another playground for their culture war, all it takes is someone calling their critics alt-right and here we go. For many lolcows this isn't even a standalone event anymore, it's just another step in an ongoing twitter shouting match they have been involved in for months, if not years. Like, imagine being stuck in New York traffic 24/7 for the rest of your life, while everyone is non-stop honking and screaming at each other. You take it with you everywhere you go because all it takes is one quick look at your phone to find something to get mad at. When they close their eyes all they can see are month-old tweets they're still angry over because the life of the person that made them wasn't destroyed. That's the life these people chose for themselves, and they want to drag everyone else into it.

I gotta be completely honest and say I have mixed feelings about the gamergate and comicsgate people mixing themselves up in this mess. It's also why I reject labeling this animegate.

I mean, Pensacon is a comics convention, and not an anime-specific convention, so I get why EvS is involving himself in that.

But I really wanna see how this particular situation plays out through proper legal channels. Gawker wasn't brought down by -gate spergs. It was brought down by a b-list celeb in his late-50s (kinda like Vic, actually) and a lot of cash (which Nick is trying to arrange).

She better hope those 25 women are ready to go to court. If even half of those turn out to be fabricated it could taint the other womens claims that cant be disproven but also cant be proven. It may speak to how haphazardly the internal investigation was conducted.
