Nope. She wouldn't care and if she did, it wouldn't stop Chris, unless she went full 'Trip to Ohio' lockout. Catherine or Renee might be able to stop him, but I don't know if the person(s) behind Catherine are still involved, and I don't think Thetan wants to wade back in. Maybe Kim or Anna at an outside chance, but I doubt he'd listen to them.

Considering that this is Chris we're talking about, I'm not sure if we should take him at his word regarding the \M/ETAL from which the piercing was made. It might be that Chris is just exaggerating/being mistaken and that the piercing is merely gold-colored rather than actually made of gold. Than again I wouldn't be surprised if Chris were to actually spend money on an actual gold piercing while incuring more and more debts.

Seeing all the hearts emoticons and the general tone of the SMS, it seems as if Chris is giving you the Megan/Wallflower treatment and is hoping that your will upgrade you relationship status with him.

It's probably just gold plated at best, but yeah Chris spending more than he can afford is nothing new, so it wouldn't surprise me.
