Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

10 years ago, I loved talking about politics with people. I hated Obama as President, but I never once yelled at a person because they voted for him and supported him. It would just be a discussion of ideas and opinions, and that would be it.

I started to avoid discussing politics shortly after the 2012 Election/during the time of Benghazi. I'm not one of those people who 100% believes that there was some sort of "gun running to Syria" type of thing going on, but I was a person who criticized Obama AND Clinton for fucking up and then lying about the reason why the attack on the Embassy even happened. I was like "He's lying about messing up BIG TIME because an election was coming up, so of course he resorted to shifting the blame," and people just WENT for me. I remember even someone crying out to me "Hillary is going to retire. She'll be gone from politics soon anyway, so why keep criticizing her?! Just leave the poor woman alone! You're so bloodthirsty!" (as if they didn't know she was going to run in 2016, HA).

It has gotten SO much worse since 2012, though. The trajectory of the political discourse has been staggering.

Though, I do admit: I am getting sick to death of going out in public just to have fun, and then the conversation devolves into people being so depressed over Trump (even though literally nobody in the groups I'm with are remotely affected). And if you dare say anything that doesn't go with what they're saying, I guarantee there would be tears and sobbing ... So I don't even bother. If I can't benefit intellectually from the conversation and all I get is an awkward as hell situation, I just avoid it. I'm pretty sick of constantly needing to walk on eggshells, though ... Especially when people obviously don't give me the same courtesy. OH WELL.

I wish I was as chill as you. I got into lots of arguments and even lost new friends I made at college back during the first Obama election, because they just would not shut up about him no matter what I said or even asked.
It's like trying to ask a bragging kindergartner to please shut up; it only makes them do it harder. Surely you can understand.

I've always had a very adamant personality, and it was much stronger when I was younger, and I simply couldn't take it.

I pointed out their hypocrisy later on with their excuses about McCain or Palin "Look how old he is, he's gonna die soon!" and "WOoo, she's been governor of ALASKA!!"; they worshipped Bernie Sanders (who looks about 10x older) and by saying about Obama, "Yeah, and how much has Obama been in charge of? ZIP."

But it was like arguing with a wall, and I soon adopted your strategy of none of this shit matters or keep it to yourself.
How ironic that something so adult like politics is when people become their absolute most juvenile. People are so blinded by party affiliations than the actual candidate; parties need to be gotten rid of altogether and just have potentials explaining their points.

Imagine thinking what your kid would do as a president is somehow "woke". If you ask most kids wht would they do as leader, president, or even God, they'd say "everybody would be rich and nobody would get sick", pretty much.

"Also, ice cream. Ice cream is good."

Sarah Jeong wrote "Internet of Trash". A guide on how social media managers should deal with un-woke opinions. Tl;dr, don't acknowledge it, treat it like spam. Its not political speech to be protected, its harassment.

She put these ideas into intellectual terms and its become influential. That's why she works for the NYT.

A miracle? Not really, she's emblematic of the Left and how their machine has warped people to see reality through the Progressive lens.

Wasn't she also the one who got tech Chinese girl with the big tits deplatformed from Patreon and lost her income?

Sarah Jeong may hate all white people, but she loves the BWC :story:

Sarah Jeong is a massive bitch and the only reason NYT keeps her around is because she’s the political opposite of some of their other opinion editors.

They have people hated by both sides to seem unbiased/centrist etc.

First off: nice penmanship, but I don't believe a child in this day and age would write like that because everyone has a phone/tablet now. Then again, I also have a hard time believing a grown-ass adult would write that nice these days. So if her daughter did write it, either she did what @Vorhtbame said, or she was coached into writing it out for brownie points on social media.

Second, what eight-year-old who's been in school since at least the first grade doesn't know how to spell all those words, or at least doesn't know how to ask an adult how to spell/consult a dictionary for a word? Unless the daughter's got dyslexia, a learning disability, or is poorly literate (in which case, good penmanship is non-existent), no normal eight-year-old should be making such amateur spelling mistakes. Especially since they're so fucking inconsistent with "everyone".

No eight year old kid writes like that without the school calling the parents to inform them that they may have some learning disability.

This has probably been discussed before but, what are the chances of trump getting re-elected and what would it depend on.
This is coming from someone outside of Us with only surface level knowledge of us politics.

I have zero in confidence in Trump's ability to get himself re-elected.

I have the utmost confidence in the Democrats fucking up royally, and handing Trump re-election.

Ergo, confidence in Trump's ability to get himself re-elected.

But seriously, it's how he got elected in the first place, because the Democrats were drooling morons who screwed up things during the elections, and I doubt they will have learned squat by next time.

The only thing they learned is to deplatform people
