How exactly do they do that, when you need a unique phone number to verify each account, and Google Voice requires you to give a non-Google number to verify that account?

People are quick to blame Chris 100% for getting blocked on Twitter. But keep in mind that there really is a swarm of obnoxious wéens following him around to shit up every tweet chain he participates in.

Chris IS at fault though for allowing his life to degrade to such a state, where anyone who talks to him is either put in the limelight of trolls/we-ens or they gradually block Chris himself after dealing with him for so long.
Those are the only two outcomes. And I will argue the former only saves more time for the inevitable latter.

You can use the same phone number to verify multiple accounts, but Twitter also doesn't up front require a phone number to verify your account thus the number of spam bots on that website.

Really seems more and more like the merge was just a convenient excuse to stop producing any art or Sonichu related materials. I don't think Chris is excusing any specific task with the merge. It's just a general escapist fantasy during his "mid-life" crisis. He doesn't want to produce Sonichu content, but I don't think he's using the merge as an excuse for that.

But at the same time I can't help but think this is probably the best case scenario for anyone Chris makes contact with. It's probably better to have a exceptional rando tweet some dumb shit at you and then just nope right the fuck off before Chris can get attached to you.
Just look at what happened to Doopie. It's been almost two years since the last time she talked to him, she blocked him and protected her posts, and he still keeps bringing her up. And all she did was take a commission from him.

This is kind of a weird sentiment. Even Doopie said that the only thing particularly exceptional about Chris was that he was Chris. She said that she had a lot of crazier clients. But I'd say Doopie was an exception, even for Chris. He follows like 500 artists on Twitter, and he's been blocked by maybe 15% of them. Chris tweeting someone about how he likes their art isn't going to ruin their lives. The worst that typically comes from it is the speds that try to get Chris blocked.

There have been people to do that. You can look at some more aggressive wn Twitter accounts to see them complaining about a temporary suspension every now and then. Some of the ones that post Chris' nudes do get suspended permanently as well.
