Discord as a whole is just a shitshow that shouldn't exist. It only gained popularity based on streamers shilling it; it has shit marketing and nothing on their website sells the client as anything positive, only "better than Skype". They literally tweet 'uwu' back at people asking legitimate questions.

It's the same thing that led to the whole Horror the Cat saga where a furry banned a popular speedrunner for mocking the fact he put his boyfriends fursona as a global emote and banned people who protested his ban. It got so out of hand that it ended up on gaming news sites.

The fact this is repeating itself on Discord isn't a surprise though as furries tend to be common in the IT field, especially in tech hotspots like SanFran which is where Discord is located.

This really expands to the whole of humanity. Remember when it was paranoid Bible thumpers telling us everyone that wasn’t themselves are evil? Well, now we get the people they hated telling everyone that aren’t themselves are evil. We’ve seen it in Gamergate, it’s in comics, it’s in the IT field, and pretty much everywhere else. People will always look for reasons to consider themselves superior to others no matter what they are themselves.

So what exactly was their reasoning for it being allowed? They didn’t fucking say, and that’s usually what someone does when they can’t find a good reason for it themselves. So what, they’re not even gonna pull the “it’s just fantasy/it’s not a real human” card? Shit, man, that’s pretty much the only defense that shit has, and that’s one of the most debated topics out there for violence and obscene content in fiction. Even then, people will pick and choose which ones they feel that applies to. All in all, the motherfucker should have said why and how it didn’t break their rules.

It's just the usual "selective enforcement" you tend to see from internet companies these days, just applied to something that's not political. In this case he might be into cub, so cub is not banned.

Hell look at FurAffinity. Cub is banned but there's a loophole: If it's Pokemon or Digimon it's fine because Dragoneer beats his meat to Digimon. While other sites like Furry Network have a more cut and dry "if it looks underage it's banned" rule this has allowed art involving Pokemon or Digimon that wouldn't look out of place on say Inkbunny to be freely uploaded.

I mean to be fair they have a thread here to begin with. If it was really like that we would probably have a babyfur megathread by now. The worst that's done that's been attributed to the whole community is shit themselves on MDMA at cons. Other than that they're just bog-standard deviants. Very boring to find out most of them won't even go to the trouble of actually shitting themselves.

The argument is that theoretically, ageplay between two consenting adults can stay between two consenting adults. In practice, that's not necessarily always the case. Some pedos use it as a cover for their interests and shield their grooming behind all of that "Mommy" and "Daddy" bullshit.

this has gotten worse with time, too, because it's hard for people to police their own communities to kick pedos to the curb when the communities are decentralized. it's easier for predators to come in now and set up a blog or something and look like an expert. this is doubly so with furries, who are so goddamn horny they wont scrutinize sources like this.

Worth noting is that the quoted tweet was about furry musician 4lung. 4lung was caught hitting on a 16 year old a few months before his ex broke up with him because she wasn't interested in ageplay, then tried to say "they're lying".

Not really, if you click the link in the quoted tweet it goes to something about 4lung. That's why the ageplay thing is the drama topic in furry Twitter.

tbh I don't see a problem with it. We have more than a few people coming in with stuffed animals. Hers just appears to be an actual, literal wolf.

Her talking about Lakota tasking is really weird but that's for a psychologist to work with her on. I've had to greet a patient's stuffed animals like they were people more times than I am comfortable with.

Not being a problem doesn't make it any less bizarre and autistic. It is a silver lining she isn't trying to drag an actual wolfdog or something into the supermarket, lol.

She's uploaded a couple more videos today and its oddly fascinating. Her resemblance to Edward Scissorhands is funny.
