You're right, gay men aren't pedophiles, Wendy. But, people who throw cash at child strippers sure are.

‘THIS IS NOTHING MORE THAN BLATANT HOMOPHOBIA and [a] display of the grossly outdated belief that gay men are pedophiles,’ she wrote.
People might be less inclined to think gay men are pedophiles if you stopped ostentatiously pimping out your kid to gay pedophiles, Wendylou.

Also, once again, she bitches about the stripping video being leaked, but offers no evidence of how it is “fake” or “taken out of context.”

There's no context you can put an 11 year old boy in drag stripping before an audience of pederasts throwing money at him in where it's good.

He often collects tips, as drag queens sometimes do

Tips from adult men who watch him dancing half naked.

Jesus Christ this horrible faghag tries so hard to downplay the shit that's happening to her mentally disabled son.

"It's not bad! It's just money for toy trains!1"

"Look, baby, mommy and daddy don't have jobs right now because we're so busy trying to get your career started. We only care about you, you know. But Christmas is going to be pretty tight this year if you don't dance. I'm not telling you that you have to. Just that if you don't, we probably won't have any presents to unwrap. But of course, it's totally up to you."

ok weird tangent here wrt to sexualizing autism, someone I know (25yo) is fairly touched with the tism and has the mentality of a 7 year old, but has been caught over and over again on the more risqué parts of deviantart. her family has to constantly keep her internet usage on a tight leash because people can and will manipulate her and its very easy for her to go from drawings of Disney princesses straight into hardcore jasmine getting fucked by zazu type shit . the thing is people with autism don't have the normal conception of sexuality and such and its incredibly easy to manipulate them into enjoying pretty much anything because sexual stimulation is an insanely overwhelming sensation for them.

tl;dr people with the tism are much more vulnerable to sexual manipulation (duh)

You're also referring to someone who is, for all intents and purposes, physically mature and capable of experiencing normal sexual arousal. Her issue is being unable to understand the social ramifications of sexual behavior.

Desmond doesn't even have a sexuality. He just knows that his mom praises him and lets him have his favorite toys when he does what she wants.

Ummmmm... How do you “edit” someone into looking drugged on camera in a single continuous take? Unless they cut out a bit in the beginning where Desmond announces “Okay, now I am going to pretend as if I’ve been roofied!”

.

The looking “drugged” is probably the worst sign in all of this. What the people noting it are likely seeing is the “Thousand Yard Stare” of the abused child. Take a look at any photo of the other example of parents pimping out their prepubescent drag queen to pedophiles, that we have around here, “Lactatia”

Look at that kids dead eyes. That’s the same thing that people are twigging to with Desmond here. The kids eyes don’t look right. They look dead or stoned. They aren’t focusing on the people directly in front of them. It’s a sign of trauma.

"He isn't being sexualized."

There are only, like, ten comments on the video of his "performance" on the Desmond Is Amazing YouTube channel, and they're only comments defending this nonsense. Someone must be monitoring the comment section like a hawk.

I haven't read the entire thread, so maybe I missed it, but... Does Desmond even go to school? How does he have time to dance half naked at bars in the middle of the night if he needs to be at school in the morning?

I'm still convinced he's not autistic, purely because any and every autistic person I know (quite a lot, as I work with special needs kids) would not be capable of putting up with the sheer level of physical discomfort that comes with drag make-up. Even regular day-to-day make-up is too much for the average autistic woman, and so many of them have to have the labels cut off their clothes so they don't get scratched by them. One guy I knew wore plastic overalls over his trousers when the weather was mildly wet because he couldn't stand wearing damp anything, even though it took about five minutes to put them on and then take them off when it stopped raining. (He missed a lot of buses.)

He presents like a child with a severe attachment disorder. Low boundaries, an inability to recognize what's appropriate and putting up with extreme discomfort (beyond the drag make-up and clothes, think of the bright lights, the loud music, the rowdy clientele and being kept awake well past a normal bedtime) for the sake of pleasing an unstable parent.

I wonder if the "I don't see sexualization, I see respect" people would think the same thing about a little girl performing for "tips" in front of a crowd of rowdy men.

I agree with most of what you're saying, but not all autistic people are as bothered by sensory overloads as that. I've met a lot of autistic people, especially children over the years. You probably already know about this, but for the sake of everyone else, there are two categories of autism, low functioning and high functioning. The difference is that high functioning autists are better at hiding the tism and fitting in with non autistic people. Low functioning autists are the ones that have extreme sensory overloads, can't handle talking to people and other such things.

There is no way a child with low functioning autism could do what Desmond does. The sound, smell and environment of a night club would be too much for them. However, high functioning autistic children are able to ignore things like this. Not to mention, a lot of high functioning children are very gullible when it comes to making friend or earning someone's respect and love. They don't understand normal social interactions, so they just go along with whatever they're told if they think it might make someone like them.

Low-functioning or not, Wendylou still treats this like its the one reason "he can't help it", even bringing this up every other time she defends her son, as if she thinks that all autists are the same.

Unfortunately that's a very common thing with parents of autistic children, they never make any effort to understand what it means. But then, most parents of autistic children don't dress their kid in drag and make him dance in night clubs, so who knows?

#teamDesmondIsAmazing vs #teamLactatia poll when?

(Both sets of parents are incredibly creepy but my impression is that Desmond's are worse)
