When I first saw the thread popping up, I didn't think it'd explode like it did. I'm not going to lecture on commenting on your own halal thread; some cows can sort of dovetail themselves into fitting in, although it's rare. But then the nudes and fanfic came out. I found it yuck, but I'm an internet vet and seen the worst of the worst of female fap fantasies. It was easily brushed off. I felt bad for lagoona though, I remember her in the AM thread I used to frequent. Something something Labill going after her with a knife and talking with her boyfriend, I don't know, I was there to be angry at Labill, but somehow, the thread didn't do it for me anymore.

Anyway, I disgress. I felt bad for Lagoona. Like God forbid a woman who isn't an 9 or a 10 have an open sexuality. The bloodthirstiness of the first posters going after her nudes made me cringe, like I was watching someone stupid enough to stick their hand in an industrial fan then scream while his finger gets chopped off and blood leaks everywhere. Only instead of sticking a finger into a machine it's someone stupid enough to stick their nudes on the internet where men are savage evil things, then watch them scream in horror when they have a thread ridiculing them.

I hope people learn from this thread. Don't put nudes online, for anybody. Very likely it's someone out to manipulate you. In fact, don't put any pictures online at all if you can help it. No holiday pics, no wedding photos, nothing of graduation, or a formal or prom or anything. Keep them to yourselves, because the internet WILL eat you.

That said though, the more I read the more I got disappointed in Lagoona. It's a shit thing to do to lie about one's own father abusing you. It hits a sore spot, it also hit a sore spot that she's been actively trying to rile him up. I don't know, I honestly didn't find it that surprising to see a thread on her on the main page. I kind of stopped reading the assigned male thread because I got tired of her turning it into her personal "ITS ABOUT ME" show.

The Assigned Male thread has seriously been plagued by people making the thread about themselves. A lot of people just went in the thread to either say shit about Labelle without any kind of screencap to back it up and tried acting like they were hot shit with a scoop, or people like Harriet coming in the thread to complain about what the evil ugly troon did to them over and over again. After a while it's just impossible to enjoy that kind of thread anymore.

I remember people like @Adamska and @SpaceAce saying how much they disliked how the thread turned into exactly that, and saying that if this kind of behavior ended up outside of that thread or the Tumblr section, these people would be mocked, stickered to death or threadbanned. Add that with unhealthy obsessions with JonTron, my little pony panties and a russian TV show for kids among other things, a-logging Chris like no tomorrow, a dose of manipulation with "I have autism please be gentle" plus "I am abused by my family" and I guess you have a halal instead. Turns out they were right in the end.

I'm surprised at how divided people are on this. Maybe it's because I've never personally interacted with her myself, but I find it hard to believe that she managed to keep her spergery to minimum so well that she was initially deemed unworthy of a thread. What kind of poster was she prior to all this? Moreover, how good was she at actually banter and shitposting?

She always seemed like kind of an awkward weirdo, but that's not unusual on this site. She was an uninteresting, at times whiny poster with weird avatars. I didn't give a shit about the labelle thread so I can't speak for her behaviour there, but I can say that she was regularly autistic enough that I was aware of her. I think it's another manipulation tactic. Probably an autism influenced one, but still calculated.
Like "if I grovel and plead enough and make them my friend, they'll feel bad and take it all back."

Because there are plenty of things that she should legitimately be remorseful about - false abuse allegations, redirecting and dominating conversations that aren't about her, gaslighting critics (which I think the fake apologies are part of) - but she has no actual intention of making amends by ceasing the behavior and engaging in the self-reflection needed to recognize why people have such a low opinion of her.

I really don't think it's a "mostly autism" thing. Like that's obviously a factor, but it's not as influential as people are thinking it is. She has other shit going on with her ego and personality.

I don't understand why people white knight someone who, if they really were in danger, would continue to make themselves a public spectacle, going as far to screech at Chris on his Twitter. Lagoona has an attitude that her autism is a specific brand of autism that is different from any other cow on the site who keeps posting dumb shit even though they've been advised against it. Especially Lagoona being a longtime member of KF, I cannot sympathize at all. If you're not prepared to be laughed at, you have absolutely no place laughing at others under the impression you're superior. She wasn't being taken advantage of either; nobody forced her into giving blowjob advice or posting JonTron pussy eating fanfic.
