Allow me to weave a metaphoric comparison.
Imagine if some well connected media person decided to run her fucking cat for congress, and using all her media links to different respectable sounding/supposedly important (yet hack infested) newspapers she was able to organise a campaign by fellow journalists and media people to put that cat in office. For nearly 2 years the cat had puff piece after puff piece in all sorts of lofty publications from the NYT to the Guardian with every journalist bigging up the cat as the must-vote-for event of the summer (well...if you lived in its district that is)
The problem is, its a fucking cat. Setting aside the fact anyone taking one look at it will immediately conclude its being run as a joke, It has zero capacity or ability to undertake any work on the ground needed to actually build up any support level outside media sources relentlessly shilling it, and thus there is zero actual ground level or internet level campaigning for the cat because....its a fucking cat and no sane person can see any reason why it should be put in office. Come election time it loses despite receiving 1000% more national media coverage than its opponent, with the only people voting for it doing so because they didnt like the incumbent and went for the funny option as a protest
This cat....still had and has a better chance of making it to congress than wu, because atleast a cat can be endearing and cute and will not openly insult its potential voters while fapping over how its buing expensive fucking cars it cant even drive. A cat will not be such a fucking tard that it incites people to come together to discuss and reflect upon how hilariously pathetic and stupid it is, and to gather any and all damaging and embarrasing material on the cat in an easy to find location.
