In the GK family thread it's been suggested that GK's dad now lives elsewhere with his brother. It'd be great if this could be confirmed.

Jay has said in his journals that his full name is classified, but his Facebook and elsewhere give it out: Jay Jackewitz Geis. I wonder how he'd react to being asked - without any lead-in - how to pronounce "Jackewitz"...

Jay lives with at least his brother and mother. Middle name sounds very jewish. Wait, so does his speech, shit.

Maybe. Or, possibly, he has some kind of delusions about being a higher form of life than a mere human with powers like Chris and his Curse-ma-whatever the fuck got him temp banned from PVCC. Killing squirrels and having that kind of power, to decide if they should live or die, as if he was God, probably augmented his dangerous psychosis, as does the fact he's extremely well off financially (yet somehow has to sell a dumb-ass comic to fund gold power armor) give him all the mortal comforts he could ever want...except female companionship.

Heather breaking off their relationship continues to confuse him to this day, as he's still obsessing over her. He can't understand why a godly knight like himself failed to continuously merit her undying servitude to him. Kinda like Marvel's Thanatos and his eternal quest to bang Death because he thinks she's fucking hot, except Thanatos totally looks ripped inside that golden armor and he totally doesn't give two shits that some punk killed his secretary like a Darth Vader wannabe while also driving off his "favorite" daughter with a suave-as-fuck laid back accent.

EDIT: I also realized I totally compared The Other to Dot. Holy shit.
 
I presume that the answer is fairly obvious, but did Jay's parents pay for his education?

Oh he definitely has delusions of grandeur. I was just particularly interested, in my professional capacity as an amateur internet psychiatrist, in those areas because we already know he has something like HPD.

Dot.

This is something the Golden Wiki absolutely needs to know about. It wouldn't be so critical in MotLW nor hold enough signifigance for it to show up IRL in the comic if there weren't some background about it. What is revealed in relation to Dot should be immeasurably revealing.

That... Actually makes sense. I Remember I saw a paper mache project done in one of our kids' art classes that was along those lines. So knowing this, it's clear that the most likely scenario is that Bernie smashed it open to steal the money from inside.

....Which begs the question, of course, why he still has it.

I don't think Jay is a psychopath, if only because his morbid fear of getting into trouble/being punished has prevented him from developing truly antisocial behaviour patterns.

Jay is socially disinhibited enough to create a comic where the hero is a 5-year-old foot fetishist, and another comic where the female lead masturbates in public and the male lead thinks this is fantastic.

He has no concept of empathy. It's not that other people's wants and needs aren't important to him, they simply don't register. In one of his journals he talks about how boring his neighbourhood is - that there are houses but people don't like it when you walk up to the houses to see if anyone is at home. More recently in the dA journal about the stream it's evident that he hasn't even considered what the fans want to watch; he says the Q&A went alright and then he got bored.

Other than that Jay has no overarching system of morality, and no concern for other people. I am 100% convinced that if Jay a) wanted to kill someone and b) thought there was no chance he would get caught, then he would absolutely do it.

Fortunately he's lazy, stupid and spineless.
