In my opinion he liked playing games years ago but now he's just doing it for money. Every time I tune in to his stream theirs constantly looking at stream chat for help and just sitting silent.

The thing is he thinks people can't see that. I mean there might be the odd game here or there that he actually enjoys, but it's clear he's going through the motions on most of them (that Need For Speed playback looked painful and incredibly cringey). Why ANYONE would randomly check out his Twitch stream and chat and come away with the opinion that this is something they would like to return to is beyond me.

He's so dumb. SO many people were hyped about Mario Odyssey and I know I was watching players streaming some 3d Mario (especially Sunshine) leading up to the release. He could have possibly found more viewers but instead shat on the thing his patrons were excited about and was like "Everyone is gonna get burned out!" because he couldn't get that sweet youtube money.

Now when he streams it, it will be his same old crowd of people who left because of his shenanigans (that extra money that was donated was not through patreon but it was counted towards it, so I'm curious if there were some bitter Mario fans there). But then again, maybe I'm not street smart.

If you are looking to have Phil stop "working" or get off the internet, you are in for a long haul. He won't stop, he is not qualified in anything else that will make him enough money for his outrageous basic bills (he'll still have fans that throw him bits and tips and he will trickle in his youtube money). Just sit and enjoy the ride, Phil always has another disaster on the way. If you start getting legitimately angry you're gonna start staring into the abyss and then you'll be the next laughing stock probably.

Views on their own don't mean anything. He's paid by monetised view (one that has ads on it) if half those views were adblockers he will get paid only for the views with ad impressions.

Im past the part of being shocked by anything Phil does any more. It will never ever be enough money for him, because he knows he cannot do this forever so he is squirreling money away, he knows this is it for him, he will never get a legit job with benefits.
I don't know how he is not terrified of becoming sick or getting hurt or having a major house issue that costs a lot of money.
