Only Phil would start a game notorious for long cutscenes with a monolithic prestream. If you think about it like 80% of Phils waking life in 2018 so far has been chatting shit on his prestream.

Is his gameplay as boring and awful as anticipated?

He's fucking up just about as bad as he was the first time. He doesn't remember any of the controls. Is there a freedom chat at all for this?

God damn that shit is damning when put one after another; that Leanna/NIER clip is so painful to watch, like god damn how do you grind a woman down emotionally to that point.

. . .also that tax situation bit. I have never heard the "I did nothing wrong, my tax attorney told me Washington didn't have income taxes!" No kidding. They don't. And it's not the same as a business tax, because why the hell would it be? His entire premise to shit is just based on his own ignorance.

I mean in general that is a rough video that just shows how full of shit this guy is ("How am I not dvertiser friendly"/"iJustine was getting gangbanged by EA lol!"/"I'm all about positivity!").

What's more amazing is that it took five years for her to get to that point. I mean, just imagine living with Phil, getting pre-stream tier rants if you ask him to pop to the shops to buy some milk. Imagine doing that for FIVE YEARS. I don't know what civilian honours you have in burgerland but that woman probably needs one.

That's a number he threw around sometime ago - it's definitely possible that renting prices have changed for his area, but it also can depend drastically on what neighborhood he is located in and what shape he left it in (this is a man who dumped grease down his toilets for god knows how long). Really, Phil is too lazy to deal with a renter/hire a company to help him with it even though it would still at least knock out $800 a month, but still talk daily about how bad his bills are (when he could be decreasing/breaking even/or possibly profiting off of that condo).

Even when he's not living there is he also still paying property taxes on the damn thing so it's not like he's escaping that. Plus on top of that he has property taxes in Washington + an extra mortgage currently. Sure, one could say maybe his overall living expense comparatively would be slightly higher for maybe food (since he orders out and buys pre-made shit all the time) and possibly gas (more heating in CT, w/e on the car he never drives that much) but considering he lives month to month I believe that would negligible compared to not paying an extra mortgage+property taxes in an entirely different state.

Phil needs to do something about the Condo but refuses because that takes people skills and effort (to either sell it or rent it) and would make him responsible for someone besides himself, so he just sits on his ass and pays stupid money for an empty condo.

Both Washington and Connecticut are ranked as expensive states to live in at #15 and #7 respectively. However, in WA, housing is only 7.3% more expensive. In CT, it's 57% more expensive.

A quick flyover on Zillow of Bridgeport and CT in general shows that property values have gone up and continue to go up. So Phil could get a lot more in rent now than a few years ago.

There are of course other factors to consider, like how close to the water the condo is. Bridgeport is on the CT shoreline. Waterfront and waterview property taxes in CT are obscene. Phil's condo is likely also positioned well for metro commuters who work in NYC, and New Yorkers will fork over a lot to live in a bedroom community like Bridgeport. Like any city, it has it's nicer areas and some real shitholes, too.

It's a shame that Phil is too lazy to fix up and rent out what many realtors would consider a prime listing.

So I just got done listening to Phil's "#poorlivesmatter" rant:

Basically to sum up his opinion, "If you're rich and successful, STFU. You're not allowed to wish for positiveness for others when you're filthy stinking rich! How fucking dare they! THESE FUCKING PEOPLE have no clue what a "middle class everyday man" like myself is going through!".

Motherfucker. You make almost 3k a month on the regular, own a brand new car, own 2 homes (one worth more then 3 of your lives), watch every streaming service under the sun and can afford brand new triple A games on release day.

1. I guess he doesn't consider that "10 year legacy" and "MILLIONS ENTERTAINED" to be all that important unless he's up to his eyeballs in cash because of it.

2. If this were the other way around, and he was rich af, he'd fucking mock people who would say this about him and say they're fucked in the head for letting envy control their lives and what horrible people they are for being negative all the time and finding something wrong with the smallest thing.

Every time I semi-move on to consider Phil just, "a sad example of a life" he goes and opens his mouth.. At this point, I honestly can't think of him being anything less then a toxic piece of shit.

The best thing we can hope for from MGS like all the best modern Phil playthroughs is for him to start out yucking it up pretending to be salty and then for him to eventually get stuck and become salty for real, before finally just sitting here silently upset trying to complete the game as fast as possible.

And she wanted to marry him and probably have kids. Just straight up. Half the reason she was annoying was her just wanting attention. I'd bet that why she left. She wanted a serious relationship, a family, and was 100% fine with Phil for that. She actually loved him. And that's why the panic attack/breakdown occured. She realized he didn't love her back.

Why I love this stream so much is because this is honest, true to form Phil. Boasting about skill, making poor claims, breaking those promises, failing and sucking at the game, then watching as his ego takes him to new unexplored heights of salty rage and self hatred. Good times, great way to open 2018.

Redemption run, at what we already know he is terrible at it. He doesnt have to prove that

The term "redemption run" has been corny and exceptional since day one, in my opinion. Phil is seriously the only one who would title a second playthrough like that.

Most people would simply play it again and not say anything about them sucking previously, or put some interesting spin on the run to not make it a watered-down version of the same playthrough. But Phil, of course, has to make himself look like a complete clown by saying things like "redemption run" and that he'll be "taking the game seriously/learning the controls/paying attention", this time.

Isn't this game supposed to be finished in a week? I'm not really interested in MGS2 but his MGS3 playthrough should be interesting because of al the shit that is going on.

Anyway, didn't he say he was going to take this run seriously? Why would he not fire up the game for ten-twenty minutes beforehand so he can get all the controls down? Most streamers I watch will do that even on a blind playthrough and a game like MGS with it's complicated controls pretty much demands it from streamers.

What kills me is the way he frames it like he's the victim. I don't know the woman at all, but you do not go Super Saiyan like that on someone when you know you are being recorded if you're in the wrong. I mean she's literally screaming LOOK AT ME, and he can not be bothered to stop the stream and address the issues of his girlfriend. . .like ANYONE else would do.

. . .and the way he talks about the situation after the fact is gross as fuck. This is a guy that knows he fucked up, and he is just trying to WILL this new girlfriend into something that could only have come from the heavens, while taking a complete shit on the person who gave up their ENTIRE early 20's (including college) to be with this fuck. Just a fucking gross turd of a man.
