Banned by eBay most likely. That would be hilarious, considering he now sees it as a means of constantly making thousands of dollars. If he gets his account yanked (and I think he has about 2 1/2 strikes against him already), he'll believe that we stole tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars from him and his mother's carcass.

Pretty sure the FCC wouldn't have any jurisdiction over OPL (They would over WTJU however) unless he attempted to transmit anything over the airwaves. The FCC doesn't really have much authority over people unless they operate a broadcasting business (legally or otherwise), such as a TV network, Radio station, ISP, etc. The RIAA however, could send him the aforementioned Cease and Desist and sue him if he didn't comply, assuming the artists and record lables owning the copyrights are a member of that organization, but they have better things to do like harass people whose 12 year old kid illegally downloaded a single song, or make sites like Youtube take down videos where their music is coincidentally in the background (such as in a passing car) to deal with a weird man child profiting off pirated music.
 
Yeah, I really didn't care about the pirating/copyright aspect of it. The radio station brought up the FCC, and I still don't follow that, except maybe people at radio stations are always cowering in fear of what the FCC may do. I was really only interested in the legitimacy of Chris using the name of a charity to simultaneously drive sales for his own gain. Maybe it'll be like some Al Capone shit where we all take notice of the depravity but he's ultimately nailed on something rather mundane like tax evasion while he escapes punishment for the more heinous acts.

One does not cross the FCC. I know this from personal experience. They have a rather draconian interpretation of the laws and regulations that they are tasked with enforcing. That being said, the FCC wouldn't give a single fuck about pirated music on Ebay. Ebay, however, would most certainly not like that one bit.

To build off of the point that you just made, we're talking about a 32 year old person whose biggest putative accomplishment in life was being on the honor roll at an unremarkable public high school in Virginia a decade and a half ago.

On topic: the fact that Chris is probably lying about this charity bit really says a lot about his character and his desperation. Whoops, forgot that tugboat sailed long ago, silly me!
 
For anyone asking if high schools would keep records of grades for that long:
I graduated a little less than ten years ago and at the beginning of this year I actually had to call and have a transcript sent to a college. The person I spoke with was able to pull it up right away and send it out same day. So yeah, a school obviously has have to have some kind of database of grades. That's not to say I condone calling Manchester High. We all know Chris is a dumbass and it's become even more clear since the burned docs release.

An employer isn't going to want the grades from the classes, only to confirm that he graduated. Maybe he should go get his own transcripts and post them. It's not like they're going to release them to anyone here. They're not even going to go to that trouble for an employer, and probably can't.
By the way, how did he do on the SAT/ACT? Or was he remedial when he first entered college? Has that part of christory ever surfaced?

I doubt he took the SAT/ACT. Community colleges are open enrollment. You just have to barely pass high school to be allowed in, which I guess is what happened.

There's no reason to assume Chris isn't going to donate the paltry $10 from each sale to the radio station. Only one person has bought it yet anyway.

Ah, yes. When I enrolled in University, they wanted SAT/ACT. When I took some classes at a community college, they had a math and English test to qualify you to take either 100 level or remedial. If you had SAT/ACT scores, you could skip that, but they did have their own tests if you didn't.

There isn't any evidence that he didn't give the money from his lemonade stand to charity. Chris is greedy and stupid but I don't think he usually outright lies that he's going to give money to charity and then doesn't do it.

But wasn't the lemonade stand in association with the church? There must've been some supervision on that one. But much like the contest where he said he would share the winnings with the congregation, it came down to it that they didn't get as much as he originally pledged. Without proper supervision for fundraising, who's to say he won't use those tens of dollars to cover shipping as the eBay orders come in, and conveniently forget to forward WTJU their fair share?
