Yeah his Fallout 4 drunk stream is a good example of fake drunksydephil. He had around two rum and cokes or something and even by the first he acted like an idiot. He didn't even sound drunk. I'm sure we've all viewed a twitch drunk stream at least once and they usually start with getting slightly worse at the game, then the speech, then the behaviour. For DSP it was just behaviour and game straight off the bat. He just started acting silly and dicked around in the game. Then he started getting trolled with like a hundred friend requests and like INSTANTLY "sobered up" and since it put him in a bad mood, started acting normal after that incident.
I suspected Christmas was gonna be the same, he'd have like egg nog and start acting like an idiot and deliberately do stupid stuff in an attempt to be entertaining but the second he's trolled he "sobers up" so he can fight the troll. But yeah, he may actually legit get drunk. At the same time, I think he'd be too scared to in case of what he says.

I just had a thought that he rocks from side to side like that maybe due to his gout? It's such an exaggerated rocking motion that it seems like he doesn't want to put much pressure on one leg more than the other. Also the rushed way he speaks sounds like somebody possibly could sound when they're in discomfort. And gout is immensely uncomfortable...

it's possible he's just going full manipulation. The SOK is gone, Phil feels more confident about scamming his fans. I always wondered if he lied/conned Leanna as well or if he was actually real to her. In his relationship with his viewers he's an insane pathological liar.

Phil, bubby, when you get a haircut, GET A FREAKIN SHAVE. It costs like what, 10 bucks more? It will give you a proper outline for your goatee so you can maintain it and not look like a fucking hobo. Looks like I have to source Fred on this one, but there was a good 10+ minutes unrecorded where DSP whined & moaned that he wouldn't continue until his (YouTube AKA IRC) chat explained to him exactly how to stop these XB1 notifications. pt115 recorded ends at ~1:15, the "figure this out" is talking about the Fallout 4 building rather than notifications.
I did have to laugh my ass off when I saw this forum post yesterday where DSP no longer intends to play anything "Souls-style" in January. Playing Demon's Souls before the servers go offline makes sense, he had intended Bloodborne + TOH but that wasn't a Patreon goal or anything, just a downtime idea - fair enough to replace with Demon's.
But remember Super Mario Sunshine was a Patrons' Choice winner, beating Spyro 1 & only shunted to January so the lack of YouTube ad revenue hurt as little as possible (ad revenue at its lowest in January & July). Shunting it but doubling up on the playthroughs by doing Spyro 1 was OK... but he has to actually play Super Mario Sunshine now. Looking unlikely, especially when DSP figures out he doesn't have the hardware or the belief in his software to record & stream it anyway.

Also the daily end of the month Patreon begging tweet, implying people must pledge to "make it all happen". IMO DSP has fucked himself with his early 'we hit the goal!' antics - if he doesn't do the goal, nolbert87's $206 pledge was for nothing & will perhaps alienate big pledgers - DSP can & will ignore your generosity & fail the goal regardless.
