It's only a matter of time before Phil says something about Leanna that will create her deciding to pull a Howard & John Rambo type video. You'd think Phil would try his best to avoid that as I'm sure she would have afew choice words to use for phil and some possible saucy stuff involving what it's like to live with him.


Something that does bother me with Phil since this thread is the only thing I follow on him at this point is that I would genuinely watch Phil if he played more fighting games. To me, DSP playing fighting games is the most entertaining stream as you are garanteed to laugh alot at his expense due to his unrivaled ability to just get so salty and fail miserably at them.

I was hoping when ZEKU on SFV dropped he would play it for everyone as I'd definitely see him gaining at least 1k viewership that stream but he pretended like it didn't even exist which is both dumb and sad, sad in the sense that this guy has gone to EVOs and was apart of the FGC community for some time and I can't imagine anyone apart of the FGC(including myself) just leaving it and never wanting to look back at it.

That's just me though

It's primarily because this is the 1 genre that the stream chat can't help him with. They can give him general tips, show him frame data etc. But they can't tell him EXACTLY how to play.

I actually don't think she'd have minded the midnight release thing, at least in the way he's putting it. The way he's saying its like she would be bothered by the midnight release because he'd be spending time with the game over her at midnight. She'd be asleep by then so I think the only thing she'd be bothered about is noise since he's a shouty gamer, not that they're not doing anything at midnight or that he isn't sleeping in the same bed as him.

What she meant when he said she was frustrated at him playing games over spending time with her probably had nothing to do with playing games at midnight or the early hours. More that "The only time you talk to me is when you want me to cook dinner, other than that the only time we spend together is for like two hours after gaming and before I go to bed where we watch a movie in silence on the opposite ends of the sofa. Can we maybe do something else than watch a movie in those two hours?"

He definitely hams it up from time to time but I think stuff like this is genuine but it probably had more to do with Leanna leaving him and his situation than the game itself.

Turns out they were both incredibly wrong and disappointed in the reality of their situations.

When she was his young "trophy" who didn't talk back or have much of an independent character, Phil was proud to have Leanna at his side.
As she grew up and became her own person, and we all know how the guy handles any perceived opposition, that's what turned him off more than anything.

I was just thinking about the controversy with the guy’s dead brother, what if the next time Phil is complaining about his crazy video game (sorry work) day somebody who has a legitimate twelve plus hour job (like a military dude or a factory worker) brings up how they are able to work and make meals and exercise, and keep up relationships. What kind of reeeing do you think would come from Phil and his cult?

Especially a military dude. In America military members are a more sacred cow than a person who has lost a loved one. That would be crazy.

I feel it all fell apart when they moved in together and they actually had to spend time with each other longer than a weekend a month and actually had to communicate with each other. They had almost nothing in common. Juggle the two's interests. They always seemed to complain about how the other person prefers stuff a different way. Even now Phil complains about all the compromises she had to make. If you've seen their coffee review videos, they liked coffee different ways. Any pizza review she's in, she likes different pizza to him, she doesn't like wrestling, she's a dog person and he's a cat person, she never saw any of his favourite movies before. The one thing in common that they had was gaming and even then they liked different games, she was into sim games and PS2 era games, he never grew up playing those games as he always says. Even without the maid/slave stuff it would have never worked out the second they had to see each other daily. There was no spark.

So he realised his mistake when he first tweeted out he hit the goal that it was a done deal. Now it is just barely over so everyone better pledge or else the goal he already bought the sweater for won't happen.

Other then that same old same old. Had to search if you could qualify for Social Security if you had post nasal drip which is a question I never thought to ask so that is something. Things have been uneventful in the world of Dsp, usually means it is time for some overblown bullshit emergency.
